Only you can answer the question of why you focus on Dak. Someone says something positive about Dak or starts a thread showing how good he is and you are there to insult the QB.

Thats a really poor apples to oranges comparison attempt there. Between injuries and contract situations the circumstances aren’t remotely close to Crawford.

AAV means very little over an NFL contract, so yes...it's pretty much apples and not an apple.

In Crawfords case, there was a 10m salary due in the final year and it would have been close to a dollar for dollar savings.

Even if he was playing at....let's say the best he ever was in his career.....they should have cut bait.

Watching him play in that Nolan scheme was pure pain.

They actually paid out the fluff years on the back of the deal that the player doesn't typically expect to see.

All while he was either injured or in clear decline.

Not really. It means that the Cowboys have little things they can do in order to get what they want. Dak's contract is not killing this team like some said. Not by a long shot.

And when you look at all the other contracts that will come off the books in the next year or two, then it becomes even more laughable.

Zeke and Jaylon alone will created another 30 million in cap space. Cooper another 22 if we want it.

and if we do all 3 we still have the least amount of space in the league...again, I am not overly concerned but just pointing out we need to be aware
