Oh yah, the RB looked great. He really showed everyone how he is the best RB in the NFL. And that whiffed block for the 7 yards sack was a thing of beauty also.

That was one play... and tell me how many times they didn't run a stacked box... because they could care less about Dak throwing it.

Dude has scored 1 TD in the last 4 games. Let that sink in.

Today was the first game in 16 years where we didnt have an offensive possession in opponents territory in the first half.

He had his LT, his RB, and a second round pick at G. So those excuses from last year dont fly

And they ALL sucked. We are a steaming pile of horse**** and nothing more. A boycott is in order until our HC and OC are gone.

I think the reason why he's having success with that is because of how poor this offense is. These guys can't get open and these route trees suck. So he has to buy time with his legs or pray the offensive line holds up so someone can get free. That's where Romo excelled too. Let's remember that this offense wasn't that great with Romo until he would escape and freestyle. IT wasn't because he had a great offensive play written up for him.

I disagree a bit. Dak is not comfortable in the pocket and never has been; he gets jittery and panicked too easily. He’s also not a timing passer that throws his receivers open on mid to deeper routes. Think about where we see him make most of his completions, in the middle of the field 8-10 yards out. If your running game is cranking you can offset some his shortcomings because you keep the down and distance manageable, but when you need to move the ball in chunks he’s a mess.

How many wasted possessions have we witnessed with Dak throwing a wormburner into the turf? Or airmailing a pass? Further, how about hidden yardage we failed to gain because he's thrown behind a receiver or didn't hit them in stride to allow them opportunity for YAC?

Dak Prescott misses a wide open Blake Jarwin as he steps up in the pocket. Cowboys now 0 for 5 on third down. So far they've faced third and 26, third and 17, third and 10, third and 11 and third and 7.

Dak sucked, Zeke sucked, the Oline sucked, the game plan sucked, the preparation sucked, the coaching sucked. I think that about covers everything. Tyron Smith two holding penalties on the first two drives, killed both of them. Dak sacked 6 times, most since the Atlanta debacle. Missed throws, bad blocking, boring, predictable play calling. Does that pretty much sum it up?

You will NOT find me defending Dak today. He played horrid as did the entire offense and coaching staff. It was pathetic and he was also pathetic. Either the guy has major issues releasing the ball when he should or there is REALLY nobody open. He drops back and holds the ball and doesn't throw it. Not sure what the problem is. It will be interesting to hear the take from film study.
Check the predraft analysis on him to see which one it more likely is regarding the problem. Sometimes things are just fools gold like Nick Foles. He won a SB but who thinks he's a franchise QB?

Dak was at 70% completion percentage most of the game and missed some throws. I don't think accuracy being a problem is something you can hang your hat on. This wasn't a 10/25 performance lol

Defense wasn't bad for living on the field... ;)

You watched the game right? You aren't just going by stats? Hard to believe someone watched the game, and doesn't think Dak sucked lol.

Even after working on his technique Dak still has accuracy problems even on short passes

Do you think it's possible the people teaching him technique don't know what they're doing?

Jason Garrett, career backup turned overrated offensive coordinator turned bottom 5 head coach.

Scott Linehan, failed ex-head coach, failed OC who has been fired from both positions in the past.

Kellen Moore, career NFL scrub who only held onto a job as long as he did because Linehan has a man crush on him.

If these guys had a Yelp page, it would be 1 star. Would you take your car to a 1-star mechanic?

Zeke, Tyron, Collins, Martin, Dak, they are all getting worse. Regressing all of them.

Not going to make excuses for Dak. I am tired of having a QB that needs excuses. Romo fans have a million excuses for him. If Dak can’t get it done, get another QB. I don’t want to waste yet another decade. Get a QB that can win.

What? "Get a QB who can win?"

That's the measuring stick? That's all there is to it? Wow, Yyu mean like Kelley and Marino and Moon and Fouts, winners like that? Great QB's who didn't win a SB in the ultimate team sport.

Romo was 78-49, in a 3 point league. Eli, the benefactor of two historic SB defensive runs is barely over .500.

Romo consistently had a bottom ten defense and a bottom five pass defense. Only one QB in NFL history has ever won a SB with those defensive numbers in a season - Aaron Rodgers (once) - Romo was never Aaron Rodgers.

I can't believe I have to point this out again but for the millionth time football is a team sport - Romo did his job, his career is not one of excuses but the result of countless factors including getting some fortunate calls or not (see the Dez catch) and some pure dumb luck (see Eli again).

If you're just waiting for a "winning QB" you would be better served to prepare to learn to live again with the wasted years post AIkman, pre Romo and now post Romo because that's where we're headed - unless of course, you have an idea of how to find a "QB that can win."

Please - let us know how we can do that - thanks.

Looking more and more like RGIII 2.0 unfortunately. I remember after the 2016 season, there were so many posters on here bending over backwards trying to convince everyone that dak is different than rg3 and he wouldn't flame out the same way.

I'm pretty sure the Packers had a great defense the 1 time Rodgers won it all so even he is no exception.

Bring in Mark Sanchez, The Dak Whisperer.

I thought he really helped Dak. He was in his ear on the sidelines all of the time. Not sure why they didn't keep him rather than going with guys like Moore and Rush as the backups.
