The defense played well, so if Dak has even a decent game do we win?

I fell so sorry for you, I really don't.

Hey, where are all the giggle, giggle, stupid stuff? Is your lip going shakey? Tell everyone how to football works, ok?
Wipe the drool from your lip and you'll see that I've been right about everything since the playoffs started.

Guaranteed a win vs TB, and did so RIGHT after we got thrashed in Week 18.

Said I have a bad feeling vs the 49ers and didn't expect a win. Right again.

Nice try though. Another L for you!

The score was tied a 9-9 with 11:41 remaining in the 3rd quarter.

The INTs were in the 1st half.

The Niners 1 TD was after a Cowboys punt.
- i.e. They did not score the TD due to a short field after turnover.

Are the INTs really the reason the Cowboys lost?
I believe they did score six points after the turnovers that they may not have gotten, but that still leaves us one point short.

There were multiple reasons we lost. The turnovers contributed but were not THE reason.

The Diggs whif on Kittle and the dropped picked alone could have changed the game
Could have. But I really have trouble blaming the defense in a game where they gave up 19 points. The defense certainly could have made some plays, but the offense has to come through when your defense holds an opponent under 20.

Yes, my point is that once the score was0 tied early in the 2nd half thar the first half didn't really matter.

Both teams had multiple drives after it was tied. After the tie:
- The Cowboys had 2 field goals.
- The Niners had a field goal and TD.
- They also had an extra point...

If Dak played average? What game were y'all watching? Dak played above average for most of the game, except the 2 interceptions (both were bad route concept designs against those defensive coverages, plus lazy routes ran) and the 2 overthrows (1 was thrown behind). Other than that, Dak definitely played at least average especially with an Oline that was unable to open up any holes and get the running game going, only 1 real weapon in CeeDee after Pollard went down with a broken leg in the 2nd quarter and questionable play calling.

There was 1:28 minutes left in the half, it was 2nd and 2 at the 18. Common sense says you run for a 1st down and bleed a minute or so off the clock.

Dak’s decision to check out of the run and motion Zeke out as a receiver was utter stupidity and after last years season ending run reinforces his perceived lack of game intelligence in big moments.

We had an obvious run situation where Zeke had two plays to get two yards and if we are looking to surprise, then the 49ers were susceptible to biting on play action. So why motion Zeke out and remove that threat. Just bad

If we are going to play the what if game, I think Maher's XP miss was bigger than just losing 1 point. Had he made that convincingly, we would have played a different game on offense. The 2nd pick would not have happened. MM would have played more for the FG at the end of the half rather than trying to just score a TD. And because of this, Pollard would not have gotten injured on that drive which was also a turning point in the game. If they had more confidence in Maher, they would have called more of a conservative game knowing how well the defense was playing.

Let’s say one less pick and another TD?
Very hard to defend Dak in this game and it was possibly the worst game in his life to have a bad game. Yeah, I think we win if he'd played half as well as he did in Tampa. It's very unfortunate.

Especially since once again our Oline couldn't get the running game going and we had only 1 real threat at WR all year long.

Having Zeke move in motion does not mean Dak checked out of a run. Lining up 4 wide to start the play means there was no run happening at all on that play, especially against the #1 Defense and #1 D against the run. Quit blaming that play called on Dak. That was 100% all Kellen Moore...our O-Coordinator.

Why are you asking this question. You believe it was a team loss.
Exactly. This guy posts bait threads. It’s not even a discussion at this point. Any opposing posts he immediately gets defensive. He’s purposefully being argumentative.

Turpin could have cut left or right and scored instead of running straight into two players and spinning.

Some blame should go to the defense, not the lion's share, but some. They gave up the go ahead score, couldn't stop a long drive with penalty after penalty and catch after catch, run after run. I blame this loss on not being as good as San Fran which started in the off season.
I'm not even going to say the whole defense The majority of the defense played pretty doggone well for most of the game.

But trayvon Diggs a player that we thought we could count on came up so small in the biggest moments a big play by him with an interception in his hands or at least doing his job and laying the wood on kittle separating him from that ball would have changed the game

Agreed and I don't blame the whole defense I blame one player who came up small when he could have changed the game easily.

the problem is we didn't and we will never win the big one with him. dream and call every one haters it will never change the facts as they are a 1st year rookie qb beat him he has 7 years to prepare for this game and the same old excuse and his replied is i will look at the tape and get better if he's not better by now he will never be, He's a carbon copy of every qb that's come through the NFL doors and left the same way richer but never helping his team to the next level like graig morton, danny white, hogeaboon and the great passer romo, that's not counting all the other teams qb's that said the same thing good example is the one for the vikings. every dead beat qb has enabler and his is jerry and lil jerry dumb and dumber good in making money but as far as a football gm forget it. as jerry goes may he rest in peace because the days of his glory at the football stadium rests with JIMMY JOHNSON and he's not there anymore so jerry will go to his grave thinking what if

Not blaming the defense. Just saying those two missed opportunities could have dramatically changed the game or saved them.
