It was over long ago.

It just took awhile for others to catch up.

Some still haven't, but Dak will leave them no choice.
I admit that I have been one of the fans that was still holding out hope that it would click for Dak.

I thought maybe going to a west coast offense under an experienced head coach like McCarthy could kinda give Dak a fresh start.

Last night proved to me that its over, he is an average starter that can win games against lesser talent. But as far as going toe to toe with the big boys, he just cant do it.

This is nothing personal, just business. Dak is a great guy, he is one of the most decorated 4th round picks of all time, and he has more money than he could ever spend in 20 lifetimes, he is doing ok. But it is time to find his replacement after this season.

I think if Dak does a full 360, it will put him right back where he's at now....correct? Plus, doing a full 360 may make him dizzy and more susceptible to throwing errant ducks. My biggest fear is he strings a few good games together and gets Booger and Chuckles sucked back into thinking extension. If they extend him, I'll come on here to comment about it....but then I'm done....and done with anything Cowboys.
This is high school geometry, a 360 == 0, which gets back to the same direction you start with.
Nevertheless, Dak should not have been signed last time and should be benched now. Fans need to quit spending a single dime on all of the Jones' business -- they don't give a damn about the fans.

That was it. It's over. Dak Prescott will be gone in 2024. October 10th, 2023, was the day Dak's career in Dallas died.

Three just horrible performances in a row against the 49ers. Regressing rapidly. He looked 45 years old last night. His eyes were bigger than the 49ers side of the scoreboard. Last night looked like every big game against a legitimately good team for Dak.

Every. Single. One.

Dak's most ardent supporters have abandoned him today locally. Bob Sturm even said that thoughts of extension talks must stop immediately. This has to end. Let him play out the string this year, but unless he does a full 360 in these games, let him go.

CeeDee is done with him. His body language said so. Saw that from Amari in the end, too. Parsons played half-hearted. The whole team saw what we saw. Passes fluttering around like butterflies in the wind. No trips to the red zone. Happy feet. No confidence. Absolutely zero confidence in himself.

The coaches and players have no confidence in him either. McCarthy dumbed it down as far as he could go for Dak. It ain't working. The Farve and Rodgers plays were left back in Wisconsin because those are pipe dreams.

That's it. This team will likely fall into the back end of the playoffs and go out like a candle in a tornado.

The team needs a full makeover, but the first move is to move on from Dak.

Finally. Thankfully.
I will give all my tickets away if we extend Dak. I might even burn jerseys and memorabilia. . Honestly , if they extend Dak, it will be first come first serve for free tix.

Seat Geek, baby! I make good money on my seats. I'm bored of going because it's the same crap every year.

Never listen to comments like that. Organizations always do that no matter what. We all know what the "vote of confidence" really means.

They'd done with him, too.
Yes. A "vote of confidence" means, "I'm watching my words carefully so as not to throw my starter under the bus, but I'll probably ditch him at the end of the season." Is that how you would translate it?

The 49ers, Eagles, and Lions are the only legit teams left in the NFC. Dallas' Super Bowl hopes are over.
some teams fold for higher draft pick???....but if we lost to Chargers....even though 3-3 is not the worst.....all confidene is gone on team and it really hard

to get it back in same season...anyone know what Jerry said??....you know he is thinking team was worth over 8 billion....this has to lose at least 2 billion?

sound harsh or maybe even unrealistic.....but i bet this reality get Jerry not to just go with the flow

can we really just stop with these yearly - dallas is a sb contender crap? this team was never a sb contender and has not been one in 30 years. Not with Dak, not with Romo - not even close. This is a franchise that is kept in the news by an owner who is more focused on growing a brand. Football and winning take a back seat in that bus.

I was one of his biggest supporters here. Guy has fallen apart over the past 1.25 seasons. He has lost a lot of athleticism. Can’t scramble at all. Looks really stiff too. Add to that that his confidence is shot and you have a cooked QB. There is no way they can extend him. Frankly I don’t care what he does the rest of the season. His skills are rapidly deteriorating and NO ONE will try to sign him.
It all started to go south when Zeke started to decline. Pollard is a decent change of pace back but he is no bulwark

troy aikman never have great stats either. he was absolutely surrounded by HOFers. If Dak had thrown for 600 yards lastnight, i think we would have won the game. I'm not saying he played good, but the rest of the team was right there with him, especially the defense.
The offense put up 10 points. They had 0 points in the first and fourth quarter. What did you expect was going to happen when the defense had no support from the offense?

The McCarthy years have been a string of offseasons of choosing who to dump. Last 2 it's been Cooper, then Moore, because we weren't dumping Dak.

This offseason, Jerry keeps CD over Dak.

Pollard should be what he was drafted to be, the RB/WR hybrid.
He turned out to be a much better RB than we had dreamed, and we gave up on the WR part.

March 29th, 1994 was the day the Dallas Cowboys future as an elite franchise died.

Dak was exactly 8 months old at the time.
