It's all about observations. The Giants have improved every week and absolutely dominated Green Bay. The Cowboys can't seem to muster a running game and won 2 squeakers to supposedly inferior teams. I see the Giants as being better than the Cowboys. If the better team loses, regardless of where, it's an upset. Call it ignorance if you want.

And the Giants squeaked out a victory against a team that handed them the game (Washington) and beat up on a team in total disarray. Green Bay may be the worst coached team in the NFL right now.

Should be a good game. The Giants are much better team than many people thought at the beginning of the season. I am still waiting for the imminent Kurt Warner implosion and the Giants offensive and defensive lines just aren't very good in my opinion.

Two teams trying to figure out what they have. Ultimately, both middle of the pack teams though. Should be a good game.

However, when we beat NY, I will fully expect hammerhead to never post here again. Imagine that

I also would add that the giants didn't DOMINATE the packers, the way I see it was they both played pretty poorly. GB especially without Farve.

Exactly...They won 14-7, and were shut out in the first half.

Hammerhead has his Yankee-goggles on. The Giant's have yet to dominate anyone. A win at Lambeau (which has lost it's mystique and magic) against a Favre-less team is hardly anything to go crowing about.

QB - Warner has shown game management, pocket presence, awareness of pressure, accuracy and leadership that gives him an edge over Vinny (who I like, but will be forced into bad decisions)

WR - Push - Toomer, Hilliard and Carter are an equal combination when compared to the Cowboys. I didn't say they were better. You are over-rating Keyshawn and under-rating the Giants WRs, IMO.

Defense - Hand, Robbins, Joseph, Umenyiora, Washington and Strahan have become a very potent DL rotation. Barrett Green is a flat out stud at LB. The "Wills" outclass Newman and that rookie.

Coaching staff - Giants - I didn't say HC, I think the Giants have assembled a top 5 staff. Tim Lewis knows how to bring it.

QB - Warner has all of two TDs in 4 games. VT has 3 TDs in 3 games. VT has more passing yards per game.

WR - At BEST Toomer = Key. With that, there is no one that can objectively say Ike Hilliard and Tim Carter are as good as Terry Glenn and Antonio Bryant.

Def -
Dline - I'll take Ellis and Glover over Strahan and his band.
LBs - Coakley and Nguyen consistently are consistently high producing LBs and are pro-bowlers or pro bowl alternates for the last 2 years.
DBs - Roy Williams is better than whoever you're throwing out there since your safety got hurt, I can't imagine you will argue with that. I was actually very high on the "Wills" their rookie year, I thought they were going to become a very good set of CBs, but they havent developed much since then. T-New is already regarded as one of the best CBs in the league by many analysts. The other CB spot is unproven, will undoubtedly give up some passes, but I don't imagine it will matter much.

Kurt is going to get the crap blitzed out of him and the Giants Oline won't be able to protect him. Tiki doesn't exactly have goo size to pick up the blitz either. It's going to bring back memories of his 7 turnover game with SL and Eli will make a showing this game.

Yep........Giants were shut out in the first half by one of the NFL's worst defenses. No way Tiki puts up that many yards on Dallas' defense.

I was surprised to see how easily the Giants penetrated Green Bay's O-line considering Green Bay has probably the best O-line in the NFL. But you also have to remember that GB was missing Mike Flanigan, their stud center and one of the key members of that line. You have to be impressed with the way NY shut down Favre and Green and that so-called potent Packer offense.

Parcells is one of the best at adjusting game plans fast, whereas Mike Sherman of Green Bay didn't change a thing until after halftime.

As far as who the better team is, that's why they play the game.

We'll all know after the game.

It's really quite simple...no need to overanalyze:

If we stop the Giants' running game this week, we win the game.

If we don't stop the Giants' running game this week, they win.

I think it's obvious. I think that deep down, most of you agree. The Giants should win this game by 7. The Cowboys, I think, will play hard, be well coached (duh), and have a good game plan. I think the talent level just simply favors the Giants. If the Cowboys win, I will tip my hat to your team for pulling the upset.
You're a troll. The Giants are an up and coming team but they aren't better than the Cowboys. The game is in Dallas.

But hey, if you're sure of yourself, go find a bookie and bet the mortgage. In fact bookies are being so nice that they'll give you points in the game. :)

Seriously, there's no chance that the Giants win this game. Zero. Zilch. End of story.

If I was to come to your boards and say:

"You guys blow!! The Giants are going to light your sorry a's up!! Etc.", then you can call me a troll.

I'm a Giants fan and a football fan. I have watched every minute of Cowboy's football this year and I think your team is struggling. They haven't shown much ability to run and when pressured, Vinny is very mistake prone. The D is talented but hasn't been dominant. I think the Giants have progressed to a point that they are just better than the Cowboys. The Cowboys could win this game, it might even be a laugher. I just think the Giants should win it by 7; based on what I've seen.

What have the Cowboys done this year that give the Giants zero, zilch chance to win?

IMO they have done nothing so far this season to say the Giants have zero chance.

This should be a good game and I think the two teams will match up well.

I DO think the cowboys win this one, but in no way do I see it as an easy win where the giants have zero/zilch chance to win.

I think it's obvious that deep down you are a troll. Most of everyone will agree. The Giants should lose this game by 17. The Cowboys, I think will play hard and will be well coached, and play a dominating game (Duh). I think you have no talent level, and your post simply favors you being a troll. When the Cowboys win, you will not be surprised.

Giants underachieved last season. This team at full potential can be a serious contender. But there are some other factors that will decide this game:
1. Home Field Advantage
2. Cowboys coming off a two week break
3. Dallas D improving (tough to beat at home)
4. Cowboys O-line, Running backs, Wide receivers, Tight Ends...ALL are underestimated.

I think you are seriously underestimating the Cowboys. Thats ok, you will get a nice dose of reality sunday.

Perhaps. I'm wondering though, that if the Cowboys stop the run, they will have to do it with 8 in the box, so the likelihood that play action would work early in the game presents itself. The timing between Warner and Toomer/Hilliard just keeps getting better.

Your at a Cowboys board trying to convince us that the Giants are going to win ? Would you leave if I told you they will ?

Please tell me what the Cowboys have done this year to give you so much confidence. Two very bad calls by officials in the Skins game gave you that one. Is Richie Anderson going to be your QB from now on? The Browns game was a mistake-a-thon. Please, I'm interested.

I don't know if the Giants are a better team I think they are pretty much in the same boat as the Cowboys as 2 teams trying to get back to the top. You talk about Vinny being mistake prone? how about Warner who has been known to be mistake prone which is the reason he was booted out of St. Louis. As for WR I think that is a draw with Keyshawn,Glenn and Bryant for the Cowboys and feel it is a draw as well at TE with Witten. I do think the Giants running game with Barber is better at this stage and is clearly the key if the Cowboys are to win this game they must stop Barber.

I'm looking for some insight and discussion. I know the Giants boards always heat up when opposing fans come in. It makes it exciting.

I'm not convinced the Cowboys have it this year. I'm looking for something compelling to convince me that they are a contender. I believe the Giants are (a contender), right now. Who knows? I could be dead wrong and the Cowboys might wipe the field with my G-Men. I just don't see it.
