to the untrained eye and some one with an agenda, this may seem like a game manager type of game, specially if you focus on partial stats (which is surprising because in another thread you called me out for looking at partial stats, but we know how you move the targets).
in the game he was 21-27 for about 80% completion rate. that's not too bad. he averaged 8.85 ypa, which is very high, this tells us he was pretty aggressive during the game.
in the first half the cowboys went up 27-7 in total command of the game. he was 15/21 for 183 yards......again we were up 27-7 and in total command of the game. in the first half we only attempted 13 runs....that's pass heavy offense putting the game in your QBs hands when you pass way over 60% of the time.
the second half was about making the game shorter, running the ball and eating the clock, no need to risk anything...in the second half we rushed 19 times....one of the better games Garrett actually managed correctly. he only threw 6 passes and attempted 8 (sacked twice). he also rushed the ball once....tony pollard and zeke split the carries in the second half......his interception came when the game was in total control at 30-10 with 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter, at the eagles end being intercepted at goal line. perhaps he was a bit too aggressive and should have been more of a game manager
.
yeah yeah yeah, you are entitled to your opinion. yeah yeah yeah you won't change your mind unless he wins MVP (and then you find a whole other thread why you won't give him credit for his MVP)....
but opinions based on partial facts are often wrong
you should really learn to get into the details of the game to understand what really transpired. looking at final stat sheet is often very misleading and for the casual or fantasy football fans.....perhaps you are one of those. not that there is anything wrong with it.
