Honestly, I am torn on this subject. I like BP a lot. I love the way he has built this team back up. I think we are much better than we were when he got here, with bonified talent on this team.
However, I am not sure BP at this time, can be the coach he once was. His best years was when he surrounded himself with very good assistants. He has not done that since he has been here. Maybe because he wants to prove to himself that he didn't need those assistants and can win the big one by himself. However, at his age, I am not sure he has the fire in him to coach every position as good as it needs to be.
If BP would take more of a HC role and bring in good assistants and let them coach, I would love BP to stay. If he would manage the game, make timely decisions, such as to kick the FG or go for it, etc.. and let his assistants handle the play calling.. both on O and D, I think he would have the energy to do this for several more years and be very successful.
I don't think that is in BP plans though.. so it may be time to move forward with a new coach.
