Once this season started going downhill there were all kinds of reports about the problem of the Dallas Cowboys not having good 'team chemistry'.
Forget the reports. Today Jay Ratliff flat out told us that the chemistry wasn't there...
Ratliff - Part One
I still laugh when I think about all the fans who emailed me about what I was reporting on this blog. I was told time and time again that the media was creating things and that they were making stuff up to bring down the Cowboys. I am not happy that this was in fact happening, but I am happy that I am not a sheep who thinks the media is the devil.
Sometimes it's hard to imagine that things aren't what you want them to be with your favorite sports team.
It sucks, but just dismissing it and wishing it away doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
And that's a 'Wade Phillips' mentality. Do we need to rehash where that thinking got us?

Ratliff - Part Two
In some ways Rat is right about what he says that these are grown men and that they should be accountable on their own.
But the reality is that every player is not a 'Jay Ratliff' who can motivate himself into becoming a Pro Bowler after coming into the league as a 7th round draft pick.
I have a problem with Rat and how he talks about how close the defensive line is. There is a good chance that some of those guys are not going to be around next year. Canty and Spears are far from locks to be on this roster and Tank is a goner.
Too many stars? I do think you can have too many stars for sure. That's evident because we have too many guys on offense that we think should be the focal point of the offense. There is only one football to go around.

Ratliff - Part Three
This team needs a lot more 'Jay Ratliffs' and a lot less 'Pacman Jones' running around this team if they eventually want to win a championship.
This interview is very telling.
It tells me that there are a lot of players on this roster that need to find a new home in 2009.
