The tweet showing Dak and zeke and others getting on a plane to go to vegas is so telling.

Fans expected Romo to commit suicide when the seasons were over to show that he cared about football but the current guy is posing for pictures to go to vegas after playing his worst game as a pro against a beaten up divisional opponent costing them the season.

Can you blame the players? Their HC goes out of town to watch baseball/basketball games before important games during the season. At least the players are doing this during off season.

There's no way on god's green Earth Jerry "truly" believes Garrett is best for the job outside of Belichek or Payton. Nobody believes that, not even Garrett's biggest defenders. It's just become some bizarre article of faith to some that he's a great coach. To Jerry, it's because Garrett let's him be him without making a stink. To others...well, I don't know. But in no sense is he the best guy for the job. We have a decade worth of evidence saying otherwise.

What did he say?

Three main points.

1. Emphasized Jerry time. Jerry only cares about his time and his time only. He is not concerned at all about how long the media and fans think it takes for him to make this decision.

2. Fisher can't imagine a scenario where Garrett stays and he thinks allowing this 'exit interview' charade to continue is foolish, unless there is a plan we do not know about.

3. He can't see Garrett moving to the FO, because that would involve moving/demoting/firing Will McClay, who has also been a part of the Cowboys for a long time, and someone else who Jerry loves as a son.
