No one was criticizing Dak in 2016

No one criticized Dak at all in 2016? Or by the time he was in year 4? If you want to mention Lance being 24, then let's compare him to QBs in the NFL around his age or QBs who are younger than him coming into the draft over the next few years. And ask will any of them need as much time to develop into a reliable starting QB as Lance seems to need. Is sticking with Lance hoping that he turns into a great QB worth bypassing drafting QBs who will be selected in the first couple of rounds during the next 2 or 3 years of the draft.

He's not an NFL qb. That's why the 49ers weren't concerned with trading him to us. They're probably laughing at us.
While the Niners(and everyone else) can see that Lance isn't a good QB, SF is in NO POSITION to be laughing at anyone. They gave up a kings ransom for that guy.

No he didn't, Dak is gone regardless. If Trey isn't the answer, we draft.
QB purgatory could last a VERY long time. Some teams literally go decades between good starting QBs.

Are you old enough to remember what 2001-2006 felt like until Romo took over?

Be careful what you wish for.

I'd hold onto Dak until there's a viable replacement on the roster, and not a moment sooner. He's not Mahomes but he's good.

The fact that Jerry thought he was buying a mansion is beyond laughable regardless of the price.

The Niners new they were not selling a mansion.
So they bought a shack for the cost of a mansion and sold a shack for the cost of a shack?

Yeah, that doesn’t make them look any better. The 49rs still look worse no matter how many ways you spin it.

We are in QB purgatory now, and holding on to Dak only assure that we stay there. He is an average QB, demanding 20 percent of the salary cap.

And they still are a better team then we are. They were just in a sb. They learn from their mistakes. They cut their losses and move on. We waste years trying to prove Jerry's brilliance. That's why we wasted 10 years trying to prove that Garrett was another Landry. It's why we stay with players that are no longer good. Zeke. It's why we gamble on projects instead of sure things.

Dak in 2016 played way more than Trey has in his 4 seasons.

What point are you trying to make? This whole “dak hate is unfair” bit is lame. He deserves every ounce of criticism he gets.

Remember, he told you to move on after throwing 2 first half ints against a 7-seed at home

Lance deserves every bit of criticism he gets. He just displayed one of the worst qb showings we’ve seen. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a qb throw picks in a preseason game in Dallas.

I don't like the way Trey looked on this tackle. I won't be surprised if he played through an injury to end the game.

They are mutually exclusive. Not sure why you can't comprehend that.

Jerry thought he was trading for a future starting QB, when the Niners had already figured out he was not a QB.
