The One Player That Would Make Things Exciting They Refuse To Play

The punter got more pass attempts last night.

Cooper Rush is so bland and boring that it makes you lose focus on the game.

Who cares if Lance sucks at this point? What’s the worst that can happen? We lose by a 20?

If they announced today that Lance is starting next week it would instantly bring more excitement to the fanbase. If not for no other reason then the unknown that he brings. We still haven’t seen him get a real chance with the starters.

There is nobody wanting to watch Cooper Rush out there again. There is zero excitement in that.

Some may believe that McCarthy is the one who is making the decision to stick with Cooper Rush. But seeing what Jerry Jones had to say about it on the radio today, points to Jerry clearly having a say so in the idea that the Cowboys best chance at winning any game remaining this season, is to still go with Rush.

There’s no way Trey Lance can perform worse! Just his rushing ability alone would make the offense more explosive.

McCarthy said in the press conference that "he wanted to play Trey..." so no, it's definitely not McCarthy's decision to make that decision cause he's only the ummm coach so...

They need to give Lance the rest of the season to see if they want to go forward with him. If they don’t feel like he’s good enough to play with the season already in the toilet and the team losing by 20+ every week they should cut him.

Trey Lance can't be worse. But Jerry said last week that he believed Rush gave the Cowboys the best chance to win and is again trying to convince us that Rush is still the best option. Anyone can tell when Jerry is influencing the decision making on who plays on game day, by how he talks on the radio and defends certain roster moves. And because Jerry is always stubborn and can't admit to being wrong, he is making McCarthy stick with Cooper Rush for at least the next couple of games.

Would even spark more fan interest if the staff wasn't trying to get Rush reps for the post season.
I mean we really need Rush to get as many reps as possible at this point.

Beyond stupid to give up that type of draft capital then not play him when the perfect but unfortunate chance lands in your lap.

Lance already played last week. In the few and limited snaps he took, he went 4 for 6, 21 yds, 1 INT, a 17.7 QBR and a 32.6 passer rating. The dude is a BUST.

This is a stupid non move by the FO. Play Lance. It makes Zero sense not to at this point. He lights it up, some team takes a chance on him in the Off Season and you may recoup a draft pick, maybe not a 4th but at least something. He sucks, better draft position and you know you need to draft a QB next year for at least a backup role. He gets hurt, who cares. I will not watch another game, I haven't watched the last 2 games, this year unless Lance is named the starter. There is just no excitment or interest in watching Rush with his dead arm.

It’s hard to be objective when you’re obsessed. It’s also obvious that they can’t evaluate with what they actually see and base a great deal of their opinion based on talking heads. It’s actually comical reading some of the posts. Either view doesn’t matter because fans have no input on decisions made only Jerry and family members who none are qualified to run a football franchise with the goal of winning a championship, just the way it is. At this point just enjoy the games good or bad because nothing is changing until Jerry let’s go of the football operations and he isn’t doing that anytime soon just think Al Davis
