Firstly, I agree.I like Dak more than many people here, but comparing his volume stats to past players is really worthless. Passing numbers have been steadily inflating since the late 1970s.
We also have no idea how long his career will be. He's been very durable SO FAR. That doesn't mean he'll play until he's 40+.
The fact is he will likely hold plenty of team records whether or not he is great going forward.
These passing records mean he is the franchise record holder but doesn't he is great.
Mostly that Tony Romo didn't start games until later in his career and Troy ended his early due to concussions/back.
Secondly, here is where you are incorrect.
I am only asking him to play at this rate until 31 years old.
Anything beyond that is just gravy.
Reality is, this was a lowest common denominator accomplishment list.
It suggests nothing hard to achieve or difficult.
4 seasons at last years passing yardage would make him the all-time franchise leader.
He could pass Roger for 2nd all-time in wins in four years by averaging 11.5.
Again, suggesting 5 or 6 years is conservative.
