Me too, i had high hopes for this. What i don't understand is the price tag, an game made by Indie developers with a average publisher and they want 60 bucks. 60 bucks should be reserved for triple A titles like the Witcher 3, Zelda, etc. So far it looks like this falls short.

I don't smoke, but admittedly, I did go blow it out and a surprising amount of dust came out. haha Which is funny because I swear I just blew it out not that long ago!
Also, yeah, Xbox and their naming convention can be confusing. My buddy thought I was talking about the new one at first too. lol

I bit the bullet and had to get Biomutant. I'm a sucker for Oriential/Kung ** Fantasy type games. Anybody remember Jade Empire? Anyway this game is better than some reviews say. Not for everyone but it's fun and certainly rusty but I'm enjoying it. To each their own, but I'd give it a solid 8.

Ideally you want to vacuum it out as opposed to blowing air inside unless it's completely exposed to blow air and not have dust get trapped elsewhere.

So instead of getting Biomutant I decided to take a break from Valhalla by starting a Fallout 4 playthrough on Gamepass. Didn't really want to rehash and old game, but holy crap does it look incredible on the Series S. Now I am very curious how Skyrim looks, because that got the FPS boost as well

I have never played Fallout 4. I've always heard it's a pretty incredible game, and, I noticed it was on Gamepass the other day. May have to throw it on my 'to play' list. On that note, loving the Gamepass.

Well, I'm in! lol It wasn't too bad at all to crack this thing open. Just to be safe for reassemble, I took pictures along the way and threw my screws in labeled envelopes to keep track of where they came from. Power supply is suppose to show up today, so, I will be eager to see if it works.
Also, sitting there staring at this Xbox open made me realize I should have bought an SSD to throw in there. I guess it's possible with a software update. Oh well, at this point I just want the thing to turn on and boot up.

I know most of you are on consoles, but for the PC gamers and Skyrim and Fallout 4 fans, have you heard of the site Wabbajack.

It's a site where you can download pre-modded games for those franchises. Step by step easy to follow directions and it works a dream. I'm currently playing a modlist with 755 mods that would have taken me forever to download and then troubleshoot, merge plugins etc.. it looks beautiful, like playing a different game, and it's all been done for you by the authors, with every modlist having a corresponding Discord forum.
Really cool project by some very talented people.

took a break from trying to progress in Demon's Souls. Made my way to 3-1 last week after not playing much since launch. Decided to continue Sekiro and after a dozen or so attempts I finally killed the corrupted monk, who killed me at least 3 dozen times in the time I played a year or two ago...now I need to figure out where to go next since it doesn't really tell you.

I just got "purified water trick" shivers lol. I swear I did that for a week straight back when as to always have it. Forgot how cool that game was tbh...tons of depth to it though, a bit of a task to get back into.

Building bases is what I found one of the cooler elements to Fallout. That game is a "real" RPG...definitely recommend it.
Humor/env is similar to Bioshock tbh but with all the rpg stuff. But I remember the convos were clever, and felt great defending one of your bases when under attack. You could be on the other side of the map and get a notice your camp is being attacked. Sometimes you don't care bc it's a weak camp with little value, but if it was a good camp with tons of housing/electricity/food/weapon stuff you would defniiely drop everything and go defend. HAlf itching to go back over here

on ps4/ps5 it didn't get a FPS boost, but if that's somehow the case for xbox there's a FPS and FOV mod for skyrim that runs it at 60. If xbox gets a FPS boost then ignore this, but if it's locked like on PS then read the mod tip for how to run 60fps without disabling trophies/achievements. It's pretty simple to do and it's easy to know if you disabled trophies/achievements on that save file if you somehow messed it up. Simply manually save and if you see a M next to the file for Mod, then close your game without saving and retry.
I believe I was running the 85 or 90 FOV with 60FPS mod. Mod works best on base ps4/ps5, ps4 pro struggles with 4k/60fps. So whatever the equivalent xbox is expect the same.
