Just watched it this weekend. It was really great.Anybody in here seen Free Guy? I absolutely loved it. I know it's a movie, but I thought I'd share in here because the entire thing is about gaming. I thought it was a great movie, and as a gamer, I could pick up on so many little things going on in the background. I recommend it to my fellow gamers.

I'm trying to play this game, but I downloaded the PGA game and I'm hooked on that. I will play Far Cry 6 for about an hour (and loving it) and then switch over to play golf. I'm still playing on the easy mode so I win almost all rounds. One game I was like 12 strokes ahead with 3 holes to play and the announcers said "the next 3 holes can be the difference...".The map is gigantic. How the game first starts you on that island, I pulled up the map, and I thought "that's it?". Then I scrolled out and saw the rest. Even then I was thinking "ok it's big-ish" until you start traversing around the map and realize it's scale. It's massive. lol
I still get blown away that we have the technology to create, render, and play through these live giant open-world maps from my 15x10 inch Xbox. lol Technology is something else and I can only imagine what's to come.
LOL! Yes that PGA game is fantastic. I was really pleasantly surprised. Glad you're enjoying it.I'm trying to play this game, but I downloaded the PGA game and I'm hooked on that. Yeah he's way too young and not clever enough for the humor angle; more that odd delivery of his and high pitched voice make humor hard with him (in my opinion)....he's more like a Nathan Drake himself, etc. I kind of want a John Goodman type as Sully closer to his Big Lebowski character, but maybe wo the impulsive tirades of anger lol.Looks really promising! Not quite sure how I feel about Wahlberg as Sully, but I'm willing to give it a chance. Absolutely loved the games!
Yes! Absolutely agree I see him way more in a Nathan Drake role. Off the top of my head, I'm not sure who I would cast for the role of Sully, but it definitely wouldn't be Wahlberg. lolYeah he's way too young and not clever enough for the humor angle; more that odd delivery of his and high pitched voice make humor hard with him (in my opinion)....he's more like a Nathan Drake himself, etc. I kind of want a John Goodman type as Sully closer to his Big Lebowski character, but maybe wo the impulsive tirades of anger lol.
Yeah Marky Mark can do his thing though acting wise don't get me wrong, I've liked him in plenty of stuff but for comedy/Sully he's an odd choice. He probably likes the games himself and used his Hollywood pull Tbh it does give it a little bit of legitimacy compared to a no-name actor so let's see considering how bad some video game movies are(Uwe Boll smh) I'll try to stay positive on this one.Yes! I couldn't agree more. Mark Wahlberg is definitely not my first choice for Victor Sullivan. He has name recognition, but does his name put butts into theater seats? I don't know how much of a marquee name he is anymore. If I had my choice, I'd cast J.K. Simmons. Unfortunately, the toupee he'd have to wear might be too distracting. Maybe the studio is going for a younger Sully by casting Walhberg? He could've at least grown a mustache. I'll try to stay positive as well. Although he's not a marquee name, the actor that is the spiting image of Sully is James Remar. Coincidentally, he has the voice for it too.Yeah Marky Mark can do his thing though acting wise don't get me wrong, I've liked him in plenty of stuff but for comedy/Sully he's an odd choice. What do you guys think about me adding a "Gaming Zone" special interest forum for gaming?
It would allow you to create any gaming related topics including separate threads for each game (optional of course), platform, genre, etc.
Or would you prefer to keep all of these discussions mixed together in a single thread like they are now?
Personally, I can see the single thread being easier to check, but also much harder to carry on a discussion about any specific game or gaming topic for very long before posts shift to other games and topics.
In other words, I think the single thread is easier but I think the special interest forum would probably lead to a lot more gaming-related threads and posts over time because people can carry on many different gaming discussions with each topic (game, platform, etc.) easier to find, read and post in.
Let me know what you think!
I agree with your school of thought. I do prefer the single thread, because it's easier for me to check. I've never had an issue with following all the multiple game discussions within this single thread. However, I don't want my personal preference to impede more discussion. And I could see a sub-forum with threads for hyped new games, new consoles, free games, etc. I won't complain either way. What do you guys think about me adding a "Gaming Zone" special interest forum for gaming?
