I could have swore that in the comic Dale revealed to them that they ate tainted meat and would die. Rick and them came to kill them anyway but I thought the idea was that they were going to die anyway.

I could be way wrong on that though.
Yeah, Dale was laughing at them, and telling them they'd just ate tainted meat. But it never showed either way what would happen, before Rick and crew ended their hunting for good.

Ok yeah I remember that. I just figured that they were pretty sure that the people would die because he'd been biten but I couldn't really recall.

I liked how they rolled Terminus into the Hunter storyline. It will make it much more personal.

Yeah, I'm glad they did that. After that 1st episode, I was kinda disappointed with the way they handled Terminus. There was that big build-up for Terminus, and then it was over with in the blink of an eye. After episode 2, it all makes a little more sense, and I'm not a disappointed about Terminus anymore. With that said, the story feels more predictable where it's currently at, so now that aspect of the show is a little disappointing. Hopefully the Hunters pose a bigger threat, and their termination will be a bloodbath, but I actually hope it's not courtesy of Rick, and the usual butt kickers.

Stolen from another board...What do you call a man with no arms and legs in a pool of water?

I remember telling that one back in elementary school.

I'm hoping they don't go the easy route and simply follow the path found in the graphic novel when it comes to the hunters.

Same here. I mean, we know Rick's group will ultimately be on top, but I'd rather see Tyrese lose his cool, hunt them all down, and kill them on by one... er something like that. Just don't stick too closely to the novel, or that takes some of the fun out of this.

Yep, exactly. Some of the enjoyment of 5-2 was missing for me because it followed the comic book so closely.

So you were in elementary school fairly recent?

Sadly, no.

There were a few more in the same vein but don't want to repeat them. Only mentioned that one because Bob's name matched a vaguely remembered old joke.

I remember that too. There were a whole series of those jokes, that were hilarious to our third grade minds.

the trees.

rick has a history of leaving behind breadcrumbs for former friends to follow should they pass that way. i strongly feel morgan is going to be a top player in this series and that alone has me jacked beyond measure. but what was the 1st thing he saw when he decided to rip off his ski mask as if to flaunt the bank cameras?

circle with an x in it.

now at one point i thought a part of that was to mark "safety" and rick and morgan decided on their own signal if it was *not* safe. i could be way off here but since rick likes to change "sanctuary" into "run for your life like a screaming little school girl" he could just as easily have changed it and morgan noticed and knew rick may still be out there. i also think the holy dude may have put up things were safe to lure people to him. what i don't know is if this is the group that took beth that darryl and carol were after, or terminus.

now for the show so far. best start to the series in awhile. towards the end i thought "that's it" i mean terminus was milkable or far longer than that. well, we were all right, they just changed modes on us. of course there were some things in the show that just didn't pan out in reality. only one i'll really mention is wow, one hell of a shot by a bottle rocket. i can never get those to go where i want. maybe the wider field of gas escaping gave a broader view. :)

there also seemed to be a lot of "wow, let me look around here" by several during the war to break free. then we got (4) from A group and (4) from B group. well the only other trailer found had the last known anti-vietnam hippie protester known to man and well, he didn't make it very far. i'd have to think some people got left behind, or they were running low on perishable goods.

tyrese. we're gonna need his strong side back. right now we've found a way to make the hulk babysit, which has it's moments, but if he really wants to protect her and friends, gonna have to learn to kill again. no i don't think he killed the guy in the shack but he'll be hunting up jello snacks for awhile i'm sure. if he doesn't get this back, then consider this foreshadowing and a high chance we lose a top character this season.

did michonne give up her sword? sorry, i was medicated up in ICU trying to follow along so some things i may just have missed. i'll go watch it again here in a minute cause i'm not going to be very mobile for a little bit (i'm ok, just in recovery) but when carol and darryl found the car that wouldn't start, what did she put in the trunk and how did it start up so fast when the jesus-lincoln went speeding by - i presume to get beth back into the fold.

it melted my heart to see rick and baby reunited but for a post apocalyptic world kid seems a but on the chub side.

in the previews for this week, we hear "we already lost 3 people..." ok, bob, then ? and ? - anyone know?

this has the potential to be some good guerrilla warfare but as of yet, my biggest anticipated move - morgan.

i have a feeling he's going to change everything.

We seem to lose 2-3 characters each season. Bob seems a given at this point, as he kind of picked up the hippie/moral compass from Dale and then Hershel.

The interesting part of that usual MO is Carl has become Rick's moral compass. Would they kill off Carl?

And Michonne lost the sword at Terminus.

ah, ok. so if she can find another she's cool with it. i didn't know if she just wanted to give that side up and that made no sense.

i'll go rewatch.

I was just sad that the ST-TNG Lt Yar chick got killed off so fast. I was looking forward to her being on the show. (Marvel: Agents of SHIELD did the same sad thing by bringing in Lucy Lawless for like a minute before killing her too :( )

The funny thing about natural gas/propane is that you need the right oxygen/gas mixture in order for it to become combustible... so shooting the bottle rocket away from the propane tank would give it a better chance of causing an explosion.

The other two missing folks are Carol and Daryl.

On the other two, from what I got.

I think the guy from the shack was one of those chowing down on Bob.

Carol already had the car idling as Daryl came up asking what up and then the Lincoln sped by.
