The World Cup Thread

KaKa is a beast in the middle and can get the ball close to the goal no problem.

Robinho is a pleasure to watch too. I love teams that play like Brazil - no flopping, just all out athleticism.

I actually enjoyed watching Portugal beat the crap out of North Korea. They didn't flop and just completely dominated the game. Ronaldo is amazing when he isn't laying on the field.

Christiano ronaldo = flop

Still recovering from my heartbreak over the Ghana loss:(

So many prime chances to score all going by the wayside.
I didn't realize just how much of a 1 man team we were.

As soon as Donovan gassed we flat sucked.

Brazil and Germany are my fave teams left. Argentina looks really good as well.

3-0 over Chile is amazing. Brazil really shouldn't be so good at soccer AND have those beaches.... lol.

Brazilians are the kings of the flop, that's where their caipoera (spin in the air flailing) and brazilian jiujitsu (all that time spent on the floor) comes from.
Argentinians are the kings of drama, they'll cry like someone just killed their entire family everytime someone touches them, especially in world cup play (except Messi, he actually does get hit a lot)...

No one tops the Italians.

Quieros is a good coach. I wouldn't underestimate Portugal.

Why is this thread still active. The World Cup officially ended in the US when USA was eliminated.

Everyone in the US should go back to not paying attention to Soccer. ;)

Spain into the quarter finals. Portugal played some tough defense, but could not muster any type of offensive rhythm. Spain just controlled the ball.

German coach caught on camera eating his buggers
