I wasn't too impressed with anyone tonight. I think Spears did a big injustice to Carly, making her change it up and making it her own. She could have nailed that song otherwise.

Tate was not too bad and Paige was ok. I think Vino is in trouble, he butchered the top gun song IMO.

Cece and Emblem 3 were more flavor and less substance. I am tired of seeing that one kid wearing wife beaters, mix in some sleeves!

Fifth harmony is probably going to be safe, but they are boring. It is the same song and dance with them week in and week out.

Anyone else wondering why Khloe is even there? Fire her and let Lopez run with it. Tired of seeing her same, stupid smile/grin as she turns to and from Mario. Get lost Karstinkashian, you are not needed there.

Anyways, I digress, I think Diamond and Cece are gone. Vino should be bottom 3 but he could slide by because of past results.

It should be Emblem 3 going but those young broads will keep them in for too long.

Paige and CeCe need to go already! They both are extremely pitchy and their circus acts are getting really old.

5th Harmony are really talented but there was no harmony and they just stood there and didn't really move at all even though it was an uptempo song.

Tate Stevens is good and I think he'll do well in country music but I personally am not blown away by him.

I can not stand Emblem3!!! They are so cocky and their talent doesn't really match up imo. Can someone please tell the rapper guy of the group to keep his shirt on!! Also I thought them doing a Monkees song was quite cheesy with the dancers and fireworks and they should have done something more current.

Lastly I really believe this is Carly's competition to lose and I would be extremely shocked if she's not at least in the final 3.

As far as 5th Harmony goes I know it was hard on her to lose her grandfather but I hate to say that if you're going to still perform in front of millions of people then you better bring your A game. That's just the nature of the music business it's very cut throat. I did feel really bad for her but they shouldn't get a pass, just my two cents

Carly did fine, but the song choice was poor. That song is like 'I will always love you', 'the Titanic song', etc, etc. Never take one of the big/classic songs and make it different, it usually never works.

I think she could have nailed that song as the original, that is how good she is. I don't know if Carly is fit to sing songs of her age group like Katy Perry, Swift, etc, because her voice is too big for simple pop songs IMO.

This show is hers to lose, no one else comes close. The only thing I question about her talent is.....what genre does she fit into? Does she have an identity yet? I can't figure out what type of songs/style she should be singing for a solo career past this show.

I agree and have been saying it's hers to lose from the auditions and I agree with you about what genre does she fit into. She could do the pop thing no problem but she could also do a pop/r&b mix because she's got major soul but not sure if her producers/advisors will steer her that way? I really think she could do any genre and succeed at it. I know Disney and Nickelodeon are probably foaming at the mouth hoping she'll do a musical ala High School Musical because she's been on Broadway and is probably a good actress as well. Those movies were cash cows! I personally think she's the next Celine/Whitney/Mariah if she gets good advising etc.

Actually it probably won't be unfortunately. Most if not all of the singers on American Idol, The Voice, X-Factor etc don't have a lot of say in what direction they go in etc until they've been established in the industry for awhile. Especially X-Factor who gives out a $5 million contract you better believe the record label will have a group of producers, advisors, stylists etc planning her every move because they'll want to protect their $5 million investment. They would never let a 13 year old decide what direction she goes in because she's new to the business and they'll want people who know what they're doing. Groups like 'N Sync and the Backstreet Boys had Lou Pearlman dictating everything for them.

Vino going home was a mistake. There are at least 3 others who should have gone before him such as CeCe, Diamond, and both groups.

Paige wasn't too much of a shocker, but she should have stayed over Diamond IMO.

i agree with you on that. i would've preferred cece to have left instead of him. vino was so good.

Yeah I wasn't shocked at all about Paige and before the show started I thought that it would be Paige and CeCe with a chance that Diamond could go as well. Never thought Vino would be eliminated because I figured the judges would save him.

the song i picked for carly is "your song". i just think she would do a great job singing that.
