Get the best players on the field. It is hard to imagine Price isn't one of the 45 best. So, who is not one of the best? Polite? Ok, send him to the bench.

Done. good idea!

why not make Cody the 3rd TE and Deep Snapper. Dallas is using two different players for 3 TE and Deep Snapper...thats whats taking up the extra roster spot.

Price suits up - last week he only had a few days in the system. Copper is the ST guy - did you hear his talk about Schott carrying 9 DB's..... That was the real nugget........

Davis Burnett, Pile to ST - Price activated.

Cropper was inactive 6 games last year - why? Dude is a dime a dozen.

Best is a relative term, based on value.

Player A has more ability than player Q, but is not a starter.

Player A might play 5 plays on offense, player Q will play 10 plays on defense and 15 plays on special teams.

Player A may be a better player than player Q, but he is not the best player for the team's needs.

I can't believe some people want one of our best receivers to sit out.

For all we know, he could be our BEST receiver, but he's not had a chance to prove anything - and if it were up to some people , he would never get our chance.

I want the best 11 players on offense and the best 11 on defense - I don't give a bird spit about who plays on ST, because when I line your arss up there, you'd better know your assignments and get down there and take that damn runner out.

I don't want to hear about Barber missing this and that, I want you to learn it or else.

Like I said before, they are paid to perform, and I don't want to hear excuses about they didn't know which angle to take and crap like that.

We need Price in this line up period. He doesn't have to start or whatever, but he could spell Key at some point, or whomever.

That's a nugget, but him saying Copper is too valuable to not be active,I don't want to have 5 WR active, how he does not want to only have 7 OL active, the 200 times he said, "Well who should I sit, then," all just flew right past you?

Teams play to their strengths. We have 5 outstanding receivers, a great RB, and an accurate strong arm QB.

We need to keep defenses guessing.

I don't care if at some point in games, we brought in Key,Price, Crayton, and Glenn - lined Crayton up in the back field for 1 play (since he was a QB), can you see where I'm going with this?

Just stop the hatred towards Price, and get him in.

All I can say is listen to today's PC.

Price is a luxury.

I can't believe everyone who will fatigue starters, run short at other positions, and discount special teams so a player who is 3 years removed from his only good season, can take 4 or 5 snaps.

As far as Price playing, and who sits, I would say Key. Put in a couple plays per series with Glenn, Price, and Clayton. Create some varying mismatches with more speed. He won't block as well as Key on running plays, but the DBs may give a little more cushion or be more spread out facing slightly quicker receivers. No reason there can't be a WR rotation like there is a DL rotation. And there shouldn't be a problem finding someone to sit.

I understand that you don't like price, and that's okay.

IMO, I think ST are easy to fix - those guys clearly missed easy assignments.

But looking at an offense with so many combinations is priceless.

That combination of receivers can open up all sorts of running lanes for JJ - those combination of receivers could give Witten so many open looks it's funny.

I just want the best for the boys that's all - and I truly believe that our ST issues could be fixed even with the same group of guys.

First off, I thought Cortez was a deep kick off specialist - that one thing there could be the difference.

I'm putting the team over the player, novel concept I know, so this is not anything more than common sense. I'm fine with Price on the team, we just don't need him active at this point and time.

Parcells is not Martz, we are not going 4 wide routinely. We will not waste Witten or Jones to get Price out there. He will not take playing time from Key or Glenn, and Crayton is fast approaching that level in Parcells eyes.

Parcells said repeatedly that special teams are a must for the #4 and #5 WR. He says again and again that it's a cumulative worth situation, so he values players that can give him plays in several areas over back ups with one role.

He spoke today about not wanting to fatigue his starters on special teams if he did not have to.

If Price wants to play he needs to play special teams. Parcells said today that Price would need to give him several big plays a game to make it worth going thin at other positions or playing starters on ST.

Then we need to trade the guy.

You can't pay 2 mill for a 4th string WR that isn't going to play.

So I say we trade him to a team like the Shegles, and get a draft pick for him.

Excellent recap...BZ

His explanation was very understandable.......Going to a 4th WR would put the ST in quite a delima; therefore It is very obvious why he would not.

Typical overreaction.

When Price became available the outcry was we need him in case Key or Glenn get hurt.

We are still 4.8 million under the cap, and there are 15 games and hopefully more left, he has plenty of time to earn his money.

We wanted him for insurance, and when instant gratification is not there we forget the very reason we signed him.

I could care less if Price plays Monday.

I'm just glad he's there for insurance!
