I don't "act" that way, I believe it.

He is not in any way special, he is not nifty. YOU are losing your mind over the very IDEA we might shop him around or let him test the market. Why is that?

I'm sure you do believe it. Losing my mind over someone like you? LOL If Dallas is going to sign him they will people talk about the player checking the market that seldom happens either a team will get their own resigned or not. Yes I think Murray is one of the top backs in the league and should be paid a fair market value. You don't that is fine, your view means little to me

LMAO sorry but I can't take you seriously. In fact, I think your joking.
On what part?

Murray isn't special? He is not Nifty?

Or the "beasting it to get a big contract" deal?

You think he doesn't know Jerry's a sucker for the hammy malingerers? These guys all have agents, ya know.

No, losing your mind over the very IDEA we might shop him around or let him shop, rather than sign him to a big contract.

Stop moving the goal posts.

Never mind that using the 1st 4 games of 1 season is a completely ridiculous sample size to judge a contract on....

I only see 4 out of 12 (Richardson is still on his rookie deal) contracts that I would regret...Spiller, Jackson, Foster, and Greene. The other 9 have been well worth the $ and more than likely will continue to be. And I really hope you aren't using the anomaly of Peterson (allegedly) being a child abuser as a warning to not sign a RB either.

No I think Dallas will sign him if they choose not to he will be signed by someone else. This ideal that a player who can't negotiate with any outside team until FA period begins then will go around and check the market only to come back is not something that happens. People talk about it but seldom is that the case. I do believe in signing talented players that is how you win by having the talent on the team when you lack that talent you don't win. Pretty simple

Shop him for a trade. See what he is really worth. Do your due diligence. Let HIM shop around - his agent WILL be shopping him.

You're still laboring under the belief that Murray is in any way special. He is not. Special backs don't run up the butt of their lineman, for simple example.

It is not just this year he had over 1,000 in only 14 games last season and 10 TD to boot. He was a top 10 back despite the fact he had way fewer carries than any of the top backs in the league.

His agent will look for a deal with Dallas if they can't agree on a contract he will get him signed else where, it will not be that hard.

That oughta make him worth more in a trade.

Look at his "injury" history. Hammy issues that, like Austin's - have suddenly disappeared when he needs them to.

The key to any potential Murray long term contract will be limiting the guaranteed money. It really doesn't matter if the Cowboys give him a 10 year deal so long as the guaranteed amount is small.

I really wish they had gotten the Bryant contract done. If they had my temptation would be to tag Murray for one more year assuming he puts up the numbers I think he will.

Players get injured they are not asking to be injured it will happen. Dez has been injured I doubt you will find many who want him gone or lowball him in contracts. There is also no way to predict future injuries for Murray or any player on this or any other team.

Dez hasn't had recurring hammy issues or other "soft tissue" issues. Murray has. It is the specific type of "injuries" i am talking about, that suddenly get magically cured in a contract year or, when they get big money from another team, as in Austin's case.

again you are so full of it, I have no doubt you believe this BS thus really nothing to talk about. Guys do not make it to this level being soft. Players can't control high ankle sprains or various
injuries they happen to most players.

Lastly Murray injuries have not been hamstring related, he has missed time with a foot, ankle and knee injury no hamstrings listed.

2011 NFL Ankle DeMarco Murray fractured his right ankle and was placed on IR missing the remaining 3 games.
2012 NFL Foot Sprained foot against Baltimore and missed the next 6 games
2013 NFL Knee Murray sprained his MCL in week 6 and missed the following 2 games

Only hamstring issues he has dealt with was in camp with a sore hamstring, then again 2 a days can cause these issues but has not missed any reg season game due to hamstrings

May want to get facts straight before making lame comments

Another thing to consider is Murray hasn't had big load past 3 years for a starting running back. It's not like he carried 20+ times a game past 3 years. There is plenty of tread left in Murray.
