Randle, DMC, and Dunbar haven't played a single game yet this season and some folks are ready to give up on them already. They never had a chance with these people. Despite your lack of patience, these are the RB's the FO is sticking with. If you'd just wait, I believe they'll prove a trade for another RB is not needed. DMC will be back in TC on Monday and Randle's injury seems to not be as bad as first thought. They should both see some action VS the 49ers next game.
I never believed in them. So I really cant give up on them.
Having said that. I think Randle is good in a RBBC platoon. But he wont be able to carry the load if another back goes down......
Also, I am hoping DMC can finally put together a season. But I wouldn't count on it. Only if there was no other options.....
I am thinking both of them will be down/inept way to much. And we will see Romo making more passing attempts. Which is the last thing I want to see.
I was also hoping a young unknown would show promise and take the job away from both of them, or at least be able to carry the load when the other two are out.
I have no confidence in Dunbar, and I really don't know why....He just looks frail. And he just hasn't done anything.....Your either a RB in the NFL or you're not. There isn't a lot of time for development......
Gus looked slow and cumbersome for a RB. It reminded me of the first time I saw Bobby Carpenter play his first preseason. I knew right then, he just wasn't going to be able to keep up. But maybe Gus finds his place as a short yardage specialist... Lache showed some speed......But I am guessing neither will make the roster.
Thats just my honest opinion. That and a buck will get you a bad cup of coffee.....
We need a trade or to pick someone up after the cuts.
I am warming up to RBBC, but we need another RB..............
