I hear you bro but next PS game looks like this...we need a prospect with the quickness

I think the Cowboys will wait the full four...at least, three....before making a move.

I didn't say that...but if it makes you feel better, the world ending will have nothing to with the Cowboys running back situation. Beware of 09/23.

A conspiracy theorist...... I've got my Bug out bag ready for the 23rd.

The world may not come to an end because of the stable of RBs we currently have.
But the Cowboys chances of advancing into the playoffs might.

So there's no confusion, I'm not the "theorist;" I just happen to know there is a theory out their that the American economy will collapse on that day...or something equally horrible. Either way, you are right...it could certainly end the Cowboys playoffs hopes, should said theorist turn out to be accurate.

Randle, DMC, and Dunbar haven't played a single game yet this season and some folks are ready to give up on them already. They never had a chance with these people. Despite your lack of patience, these are the RB's the FO is sticking with. If you'd just wait, I believe they'll prove a trade for another RB is not needed. DMC will be back in TC on Monday and Randle's injury seems to not be as bad as first thought. They should both see some action VS the 49ers next game.

I take it you have experience in the activity. Never understood the appeal myself...it's kinda like Nascar.

AD is like Danica Patrick in Nascar. Nice to look at and think about but don't want to foot the bill for the possibility.

I've actually never understood the Danica is hot narrative. She's hot for a race car driver, but that's about it.

Google Danica Patrick images and get back to me....I'd give u links but I always get banned and wrists slapped in here. She can eat Ritz crackers IMB anytime....

The Denver situation is 1 to monitor. cJ Anderson is the starter with Hillman, Ball, and Juwuan Thompson backing up. I can't see them keeping both Ball and Hillman. 1 would hardly see the field.

Jets also have too many rbs. But most likely we'd be looking at Blial Powell or Daryl Richardson (meh). Possible 1 of Ivory or Ridley could become available though.

Bills will likely have 1 of Bryce Brown or Anthony Dixon available. Again, kinda meh.

Other than that I honestly don't see anything big happening.

Like many, I too am not sold on just leaving the RB situation as it is. Our top 3 have A LOT to prove. Other than Randle we know his presumed backups are an arm tackle away from being injured. I'm all about due diligence if we can upgrade the RB position. Maybe not to the extent of trading a pick but maybe finding someone other than a Lance Dunbar or Gus Johnson. Just saying.... there has to be better. Nothing wrong with churning the bottom of the bucket especially if it hinges on UDFA and their would be potential.

Bringing in Ray Rice at a very cheap price looks very tempting unless the NFL and owners have agreed to ban Rice from ever playing in the league. That may not be the case. If he doesn't pan out, simply release the guy. At least people can say he was given another opportunity to redeem himself and he failed.

I think our most viable trade options for a respectable RB would be:

Hanna - Not sure what he would bring but a complete TE who plays ST may be attractive to a team.

Escobar - I would hate to lose him but he may be our best bait for a starter quality RB

Jeremy Mincey - Rush ends are premium maybe we could sell high?

Devin Street - Another nice game and maybe he becomes attractive

I'm just looking at options with the least team impact. Please offer opinion on what these guys could bring or someone that could bring us a RB in a trade.

Anyone of these guy could bring in a useable player.

I think Hanna would a solid back up to Randle if we went with Randle. Not a real name guy, but a decent back

I dont think we would trade Mincey after giving him a bump. But I think he could bring in a Zach Stacy type

Difficult to gage what we could actually get for Escobar because while its no fault of his own, the productions not there. He is a guy you may be selling low. Personally I would take a back no lesser then Kniles Davis

Devin Street at this point not give us a whole lot either. He doesnt have the production. But I think he could net us a back in a similar situation. A HB on the outside of the roster bubble that a team may want to get something from instead of outright cutting

If we trade for a player, it better be for someone we couldn't get otherwise. Randle is a young guy who has shown potential, so I don't see any other young former backups being better than him. McFadden is a vet with the physical tools who has a chance to turn it around in Dallas, so I don't see anyone else in that same boat being better than him. Point is, only type of player who would be better than what we already have is a proven starter. And the only real trading piece we have who could net us a proven starter is Leary, the starting LG for the past two years on the best O-line in the league. You don't trade Leary for anyone who isn't without a doubt better than Randle and McFadden.

McFadden was a street free agent who is playing for the vet minimum. If he was so valuable don't you think some team would have been willing to sign him for a tad more? Nobody wanted him.

This. Either a draft pick or Ron Leary.
At this point I want a guy with Pro Bowl potential if we are trading Leary. Collins is coming on strong, and if Collins is the OG its because of Collins winning it, not Leary losing it.
