There is a good chance Pacman is already cleared and the comish has the details. Just because someone who gets arrested blaims someone else does not mean it is true. They all have a story. Since this guy has been arrested the police have more evidence then just a lineup.

Exactly... The ONLY way that police are going to look into Pacman on this again, is if this guy said he had evidence that Pacman did indeed order the hit. Noone in their right mind would buy the "I didn't do it" excuse.....

FYI for those who wonder if we get compensation back if Pacman isn't reinstated or is reinstated, but later suspended. From Yahoo!Sports:

If Jones were not reinstated by the NFL, the Titans would have to return a fourth-round pick to the Cowboys in 2009, according to the newspaper report.

Should Jones get reinstated but get suspended again, the Titans would have to give up a fifth-round pick to the Cowboys.

Noone here wants to wake up one morning to the story that gunmen seeking revenge on Pacman open fired on a car he was in with 3 other Cowboys players. Edwards' girlfriend has already admitted that she picked up the money for him. He was also dumb enough to send his picture to Pacman to show him it was real. That's how he was able to be identified.

Its funny anyone would think that anything he says is reliable since he claims he knows stuff but of course he wasn't the shooter. Because he would be admitting guilt if he said Pacman paid him to do the shooting.

The investigation has ended and the police did clear Pacman. I don't and I doubt the police buy the "I didn't do it, I have no reason to lie argument" from a guy who is charged with 3 counts of attempted murder.

Now, if he does have some sort of evidence or something to prove Pacman is lying, then things could really change. But no way the police are bring this guy in and charging him with attempted murder strictly on the word of Pacman Jones alone. I mean come on, do you really think that the police have NO other evidence tying this guy to the shooting?

Well I knew once that shooter was arrested and started talking Jones would be implicated. As someone who has followed Pacman I've always believed he had a hand in the shooting.

But the real question is will Goodell re-instate Jones while this investigation and trial is going on. I seriously doubt it.

The last thing Goodell is gonna want is in mid season to have Jones arrested or jailed.

There are more holes in this guy's story than Swiss cheese.

This is a scenario that does indeed concern me. I've even worried about some type of violence at Valley Ranch, although the security is probably pretty tight. Hopefully, there will be no incidents that put anyone in the organization in any type of danger, including Pacman himself.

As for this topic...I doubt Adam Jones is going to get anything out of this. I'm sure if they've cleared him they had plenty of reason to do so. I do worry, however, that Roger could indeed keep him suspended until this deal is 100% cleared up. I wouldn't be shocked, at all, if he said he wouldn't allow him back until this thing is completely over.

One thing I don't understand is why you would tell a guy in a strip club whom you have no idea who he is and order a hit for him to do. From the sounds of it Pacman had enough people around him who would have done the hit and not said anything. I'm not saying Pac is a good guy, but I don't buy the other guys story at all.

Sure, but it doesn't look to me like that what this guy is doing.

Seems to me that he still has a grudge against Pacman and -by association - the Cowboys. He now has an axe to grind with both. He gets enjoyment out of anything negative regarding either and is only too happy to share the bad news.

I'd call that trolling if it were up to me.

I don't see how there's much left to 'clear up'. This guy was identified as the shooter and is now saying anything he can to get out of it.

I guess Goodell might wait until the guy's trial is over before reinstating Pacman because his name would inevitably get mentioned and therefore so would the NFL.
