Why do u want this?Especially if he didnt do it.Hes gonna be a great CB for us.Put aside ur pride for a second and realize ur a fan,and the first pick6 u will be cheering ur butt off.

We can win without him and I am hoping if he is in more trouble or doesnt get reinstated Jerry will think twice about getting into these deals again.

and I wont be rooting for pacman to play poorly if he does have to be on this team, but I will be rooting for jenkins, scandrick and ball to be the 4th cb instead of him.

I just dont want him on this team and I do not want to have to root for him during games.

I fully expect Pacman to be re-instated by the league.

The Commish will of course reserve the right to banish him again which very well could happen but a court case that will play out over a long time is not going to keep someone suspended who has already served a year.

If the Commish did keep Pacman out, he'd probably sue, with the backing of the NFLPA, to gain reinstatement. Goodel is pushing the envelope on player punishment as is. And the Collective bargaining agreement is about to come to a close.

Unless Pacman is re-arrested or convicted I doubt this case affects his status.

I just hope we are not dealing with this in the middle of the season. Last thing Dallas needs is to be dealing with Pacman Jones in trouble during the season.

One thing I don't understand is why you would tell a guy in a strip club whom you have no idea who he is and order a hit for him to do. From the sounds of it Pacman had enough people around him who would have done the hit and not said anything. I'm not saying Pac is a good guy, but I don't buy the other guys story at all.

EXACTLY! The dude in prison is just trying anything to save his butt from a long stretch in the pokey. I believe A Jones will be reinstated and will not have to wait until this trial is over simply because he can ban him at a later date if need be.

As for this topic...I doubt Adam Jones is going to get anything out of this. I'm sure if they've cleared him they had plenty of reason to do so. I do worry, however, that Roger could indeed keep him suspended until this deal is 100% cleared up. I wouldn't be shocked, at all, if he said he wouldn't allow him back until this thing is completely over.

I don't see what needs to be cleared up. The police have cleared Pacman and have arrested this guy for the shooting. Things seem to be as cleared up as any case can be.

Just because one the guy who was arrested tries to claim he knows nothing about it isn't anything new. Defendants always try and claim they are innocent and are being framed.

What is there to be dealing with? Some on here are acting like the police might actually be buying a single word out of this guys mouth. They wouldn't have arrested the guy if they actually believed that he was innocent.

I'd agree and have little faith he goes forever without incident. BUT in this particular case I just do not see anything happening that will jeopardize him playing THIS season.

It may cause the Commish to hold off another month or so and cost Pacman valuable training camp time but I doubt he pushes it because the Cowboys and NFLPA will begin working hand-in-hand to get the guy re-instated which means collecting evidence of Pacman's following the guidelines.

The real test imho will be next off-season once Pacman has resumed play and has to occupy his time with ... something. If he goes the usual route he'll be back in jail in a matter of weeks and we'll be in possession of a 5th round pick.

Funny you talk about a guy getting arrested trying to save his own butt? How about pacman he was arrested and has said things to save his own butt. It is not an accident that Pacman continues to find trouble and Dallas sure as hell does not need Pacman and his antics.

You talk about this guy can't be trusted how much can pacman be trusted?

In the end this other guy is not going to be playing for the Cowboys pacman is and the guy better get his act together because this team does not need his distraction during the season we are too close to the golden ring to be dealing with a moron like Pacman

Agreed.

I call nonsense on this. IF Pac is to be reinstated, which I believe he is and should.... then the commish has to stop this nonsense. Reinstate him so he can get ALL football activity in... from jumpstreet.

I am actually more concerned than I was with TO. With TO I really felt he would be different here for more than one reason.

With Pac... I just dont know if he has it in him to use common sense... does he have any?

If we cut Pac Man is that enought to get our fourth or fifth back (depending on the timing of the cut), or does it take a suspension by the commissioner to get a draft choice back?

Do you really think that the ONLY evidence that the police have in this matter is Pacmans ID? No way the arrest a guy and charge him with 3 counts of attempted murder if the ONLY evidence they have on him is Pacmans ID, especially since at first Pacman WAS a suspect.

If Pacman does not play the entire year, because of any disciplinary reasons, then we get a 5th round DP back. If he misses the whole season, we get a 4th round DP back.

Hey all - If Pac man does not get reinstated, The Cowboys get a 2009 5th rounder from the Titans, despite giving up a 4th this year.

Pac Man will never play for the Cowboys.

I don't know what evidence they have or from who and neither do you. Look Pacman has a long history so excuse me if I don't believe much of what Pacman Jones has to say right now. I don't think the Commissioner is going to reinstate him until all of this is put to rest and all accusation and allegation are addressed in this upcoming trial. Goodell has no reason to right now and the Cowboys don't need to be dealing with this until this is all put to rest. Once that happens then reinstate him and allow him to join the team until then no

Funny you talk about a guy that has already been "cleared" by police, Pacman took a plea deal.

Hate to tell you but people have been known to lie to police in a plea deal. This will all go to trial and either they will find that what Pacman has said is the truth or he lied in an attempt to save his own butt and his career. As for what Pacman has to say I don't think that is worth much.

Again you continue to gloss over the cleared by police aspect. They already checked out his story, they've had the info for quite some time.
