Video: TLC: You Will Never Look At Tony Romo The Same!

Yes, on offense where Romo and TO were a big part of that only pre-injuries. TO was hobbled due to a non-healed high ankle sprain and the Cowboys were playing Jacques Reeves (4th corner) as a starting cornerback. The defense was middle of the pack.

Romo failing to get it done on the last play of the game is not the same as the game being over at halftime because the QB effectively throws two pick sixes. Dak-Stans make all sorts of excuses for Dak’s play being a result of deficiencies of the team yet they never give Romo the same benefit.
I've got no excuses for Dak. Like Romo, he failed to get it done.

At this point, it's useless to blame either QB because losing when it counts is 100% Jerry's fault since it is his culture, his hires, his draft picks, his lack of free agency spending, his fault in every way.

Since we are talking about playoff game losses, which playoff game happened where Dak threw 2 pick-6s which effectively ended the game at halftime?

Yep...and once again proved with dak. Remarkable.

I was thinking more THE TEAMS...failed to get it done.

But...maybe a "deep dive" is in order on the two QB's contribution, or lack of. I know a lot of people wouldn't be interested and I also know why.

What amazing to me...I mean ridiculous..is how often Romo haters us 'the fumbled snap" to prove what a bad Qb he was. From...2006? When he shouldn't even be holding? What starting Qb holss the kick?

So you got that and Dez fumbling a catch...as your "proof". This is absolutely insane.

That's all you got...so Romo pretty good then.
Also, IIRC, that slippery ball was the catalyst for the new rule about teams supplying kickers with their own ball.

From what I recall, that ball was never ever touched until it was used for that play, hence the rule change.

However, Romo should have never been in that position to begin with. I wonder if he ever even practiced holding the ball in a play like that? I mean he was a QB, not a holder.

Right, it was a brand new, uncuffed, slippery ball. And you're right, it has nothing to do with him as a QB.

The pertinent point being that Romo only 1 top 10-12 defence during his career. How many has Dak had...

I can't believe the greased ball trick wasn't used more often - previous to that game. The reflection off that thing was blinding.

"Effectively through two pick 6's."

Pretty sure that is referencing the GB game where he had one Pick 6, and another inside the Cowboys red zone (hence "effectively" though not literally).

Unfortunately for Romo, his distractors use the against him all the time. Yeah, he flubbed up some games, but that one was not on him. I forget what happened to the actual holder, I think he got injured and now I don't even know who he was?

Yea, Carrie Underwood is the devil too. Oh and his current wife as well. What was he thinking,
I remember the story about when Romo and Jessica were driving somewhere and got into an argument so Romo pulled into a McDonalds and dropped her off there and drove away never to see her again. lol

Well, it wasn't greased (I don't think) but it was brand new and unscuffed...and very slick.
