I've got no excuses for Dak. Like Romo, he failed to get it done.Yes, on offense where Romo and TO were a big part of that only pre-injuries. TO was hobbled due to a non-healed high ankle sprain and the Cowboys were playing Jacques Reeves (4th corner) as a starting cornerback. The defense was middle of the pack.
Romo failing to get it done on the last play of the game is not the same as the game being over at halftime because the QB effectively throws two pick sixes. Dak-Stans make all sorts of excuses for Dak’s play being a result of deficiencies of the team yet they never give Romo the same benefit.
At this point, it's useless to blame either QB because losing when it counts is 100% Jerry's fault since it is his culture, his hires, his draft picks, his lack of free agency spending, his fault in every way.
