Tom Landry Stadium---You can make it happen

To simply reach a Super Bowl is a huge accomplishment. Landry accomplished that task five times. He was also a key reason why the franchise's record of consecutive winning seasons may never be touched again in NFL history. No disrespect to Johnson, but his accomplishments pale in comparison to Landry's.

This IS a generational thang.

Jimmy was greatness, but his time was only five years... basically, he was a merc...

Tom Landry was one of the builders of the greatest football franchise ever created... he gave the team 30 years of his life... the Cowboys WERE his life, for a long time there...

Well, if that's your point, why try to qualify it by saying that naming the stadium after Landry would deify him? It wouldn't. Naming stadiums, monuments, ships, etc., is an ancient practice. Why is "Tom Landry Stadium" suddenly an exception? Just asking.
