Romo is going to be Romo his personality is what it is. There is nothing he needs to change. By all accounts Romo is a very hard worker, when he is around coaches or other great athletes each tell the same story of how Romo picks their brain. I think allot of this non-sense is media driven such as the Jessica stories or Romo taking a few days off and going out of town which in my opinion there was nothing wrong with that hell at that time Dallas did not even know who we would be facing so it is not as if he was missing out on anything since there was no game plan in place.

Awesome. Then next offseason, after he's won us the Trophy, I want to see you come in here and tell us all how you were not sold on him and still not.

I'm sure, if you look around, you can find yourself another team to root for with a QB that you like better. Maybe the Vikes, for example, or perhaps the Dolphins.

I imagine you were ready to run Troy off as well, before 92, when he 'hadn't won anything'.

You forget that apparently professional athletes, especially ones named Tony Romo, are not allowed to have a life outside of football. Didn't someone give you the memo? Tony is suppose to eat, sleep, breath, live football 24/7, 365, until the day he retires. Otherwise he's not working hard enough and he's being too cocky.

Thing is Romo has not missed any of the OTA or mini camps he goes to Valley Ranch and puts in the work. Outside of that he is a young man who is enjoying life and why not. He is not getting into trouble so I have no issue at all with Romo and him enjoying the fruits of his labor. The guy has worked his way from being 4th on a depth chart to being the starting QB then going out last year and breaking many of the single season records held by some of the best QB's in Cowboys history. Romo is doing great in my opinion and does not need to change a thing. Teams win Championship not individuals, the reason we did not advance last year is because the Teams did not do enough to win the game.

I for one hope im wrong about Romo. but everytime i hear about this guy he's playing golf or running around with Jessica simpson. or singing at cubs baseball games. this guy is everywhere but in the film room.my point is, seems like this guy has done nothingto get better as a QB this offseason.he had 20 picks last season. maby if he was watching enough film this summer he would see why.football is year around. not just a six month job. the jury is out of this guy bigtime.

Good thing you did not have the internet in the early 90's .... you would have been tired of hearing about Troy Aikman dating country singer Lorrie Morgan, movie star Sandra Bullock, and television star Janine Turner.

All of who were at his games.

So I'm assuming that by watching that media coverage that is covering all of, what, a small portion of each of his days (on those days that you're talking about being covered) that you know for sure, without a doubt, that means he's not watching any film.

I mean since he was seen at a Cubs game one day NO WAY could he have possibly looked at anything football related with the rest of that day?

Oh geez he went out with Jess a few times this summer. My God that means he must not have looked at any film during those times. How dare he!

The bigger fact is that you obviously don't know squat about how much time he puts into football each day, each week, each month. You see a few news reports on him and then you pull the idea, completely out of your butt, that it means he's not doing nearly enough film study.

Yet everytime we turn around, and read an article or hear an interview, from one of his teammates or his coaches and they're asked about him we hear the exact opposite of your theory. That's he's working very hard, putting in lots of time, and doing his job to get better.

Now I wonder which peoples theory I'm going to listen to. The ones who know him and see him regularly or the guy on the message board who doesn't know squat.

Seems like a no brainer to me.

and also the obvious holes we had, #2 WR ( with TO gimpy) and secondary (Reeves & Nate Jones) .

One thing I feel certain about is Dallas would not have been in running last year had it not been for the play of Tony Romo. The guy was able to convert several broken plays for this team and even on a down day in Buffalo had enough poise to go out and put the team in a position to win the game.

True and the line play in the 2nd half of the Giants game was awful. Romo was under constant pressure and the line was not responding to the challenge.

Give me a break.Romo was one of the main reasons we lost that game. he missed Owens wide open on a touchdown. he also made dumb plays all day long.like holding the ball to long. and like grounding the ball when he could have thrown it away since he was outside the pocket.he has played terrible in both playoff losses.he did not lose it by himself. but he was part of the problem. the jury is still out on this guy.

I thought the line play was a result of half time adjustments by the G-men. TO's ankle caused press coverage. They focused more on the run and rushing the QB, attacking style. Would not of hurt to have shortened our passing game (screen plays, slants, outs) to slow them down.

I hand to the Giants. They got pressure on Romo, Favre and Brady. I think it says a lot for them. If we could go back in time your right maybe some quick hitters in the passing game may have changed the outcome but I have been and always will be a person who will give credit where credit is due and given the Giants ability to get after 3 darn good QB's and not give up big plays in the process says a lot about the job the Giants defense did last season. I look forward to facing them this season.

Minus one of their BIG DOGS (Strahan). That's only gonna help plus the potiental Felix factor.

At least they took care of the CHEATS (NE).

I think the loss of strahan will be big not just because of his play but he was the leader of that defense.

Hopefully Strahan doesn't do a Favre impession. I don't think it matters because

1. our improved secondary
2. officiating sucked in the playoff game, heavily towards the G-men
3. more weapons, offensive & special teams
4. possible better WR play from the young guns
5. Eli falls off his cloud :)

There's probably more factors but you get the idea.

The G-men just rolled @ the right time and plus lightening never strikes twice at the same spot. It better FREAKIN not.

I think Strahan stays retired. He already as a gig on FOX for this coming season and he was able to get the ring this past season. As for the Giants as a whole I respect what they did and I don't think they got any special treatment from anyone.

They were clear cut underdogs in Tampa, Dallas, GB and big time underdog’s vs the Pats who many claimed was getting special treatments from the refs but low and behold they did not get that so called special treatment in the SB. I think Refs make mistake but I don't think they are dictating or determining the outcomes of any games.

If I thought for a second these games were not on the up and up I would not bother watching it. I grew up giving teams credit when it was due and I give the Giants the credit for a job well done.

I hated it in the past when people would make these claims when Dallas won I’m not going to do as those people do it just comes off as sour grapes to me and while I’m an extremely completive person I’m not a sore loser. I look forward to facing them this season
