but KJJ no team can pay their QB WR and build a winning team...ooh wait...
You can’t build a winning team without quality players at those positions. Every team goes through the same dilemma.

He’s not making our defense better and has been a virtual no show so far this season. He’ll be looking for close to $40 million per season next year. He’ll be a training camp holdout. He only has one sack in our first 3 games and opponents have figured out how to neutralize him. He’ll be lucky to have double digit sacks this season with teams running the ball all day. He’s not making as many eye popping plays as he did his first couple of seasons and he continues to wear down. It’s just been reported our run defense is the worst through 3 games in the last 60 years in the NFL. Parsons says he only wants to play until he’s 30. He’s talking about being in the Olympics in four years. He doesn’t love football. We need to see what kind of haul we could get for him in a trade. We need to build the DL with a solid DT and add a quality RB.
Don’t think they will trade Micah.

Losing several players in free agency while sitting on our hands has put us in the sinking boat we’re in. Pollard had 82 yards and a TD yesterday and the other two backs we could have had Aaron Jones and Henry put up over 100 yards a piece on Sunday. The Jones’s continue to make themselves look like jugheads.

I've been saying this for a while. They won't be able to afford him so he's going to walk with us getting nothing in return. They should've traded him before this season started. They should've traded CD lamb as well. However, do you really trust Jerry and his team to take those premium draft picks and build the Super Bowl contender?
Micah is the defenses best player.

If you trade him. The defense would get considerably worse immediately.

Just so we are clear.

I’m not sure why people want to get rid of a top 3 pass rusher in the league, because he is just “ok” against the run. (He’s not even the main problem with the run defense).
this team has so many holes you can’t even count them. Keeping Micah is a dumb move for the future. When Jimmy Johnson took over the Cowboys, he traded the best player on the team to the Vikings for a windfall and draft picks and players. That that won’t happen again to that extreme, but you can cash in now. They should trade him soon before his value starts to drop. If they sign him, the Cowboys will be screwed for the next 4 to 5 years. Trade for draft picks. They should’ve done the same with lamb and not sign Prescott. This team is nowhere near competing for a Super Bowl. Why bother paying your players if you’re not gonna get there? Because Jerry only cares about his team. Michael will eventually leave the Cowboys and we will get nothing in return. We should trade him now while he still has top market value. Some Team will overpay for him.

He won’t be walking, if they have trouble working out a contract they’ll franchise him.

Why would we be sorry. No matter what success he has on another team does not mean he would have had that success in Dallas.

If your opponent only needs to throw the ball 12-15 times a game to win Micah is a complete waste of money on this team. Absolutely no way he can be effective this way.

He is also pretty much none existent in the run game.

If you can get 2 number 1's and save $40M+ and your "GM" can't figure out how to take advantage of that you have a much bigger problem. With 2 numbers 1's and $40M that should translate to at least 4 starters. You could rebuild the entire DLine.
Perhaps if you find the right trading partner, and even if so, do you trust ownership to do so? By signing Dak, it sent a clear message that no rebuild is planned, so Micah is going nowhere. The only hope we have is that somehow they manage/learn to build around him because, by the looks of it he will get his money

I remember when people said the same thing about Herschel Walker.

All those years of catching inaccurate passes from Dak finally paid off for Noah Brown
