Not the same.Mark schelereth who stated it took him a year and a half to get his strength back. He missed 9 games and was still fighting it while playing the next season
It might not be the same but the process is. Fred isn't even working on getting his strength back in rehab when we see that then it will be close. I'm not being negative I'm just saying we would be crazy lucky to see fred this year. Not the same.
He has been lifting weights for weeks and weeks. While true he has to overcome the disease and then rehab extensively to get his strength back in order to play. He hasn't even started the rehab.
Source? He has been lifting weights for weeks and weeks.
Where did this come from? That's not what was reported a couple of weeks ago.Fred isn't even working on getting his strength back in rehab
Every update is he is feeling better but that's it. Nothing about working out extensively.Where did this come from? That's not what was reported a couple of weeks ago.

He won't make any progress until he has beaten the symptoms which have not happened yet if he still doesn't have feeling. He has been working at the Star 4 days a week in the weight room and getting in overall work 6 days a week. Still has numbness in hands and feet but he and his doctors are seeing progress. This was the report back on Oct 5th. Could not post link due to a certain media outlet not allowed at this sight.
It basically says he is doing light work and can do free weights which could mean the 5 lbs ones my wife uses when she works out.https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/201...date-on-his-medical-condition-efforts-to-play
First week of September.....

Ok, two things. One, a freeweight doesn't mean it's light. A bench press is a free weight, if he was only using machines I'd be far more concerned, because that means he has no muscle stability. Two, I'm just refuting the idea that his rehab hasn't even starter. Clearly it has, since he was lifting - even if it was light - almost 2 months ago.It basically says he is doing light work and can do free weights which could mean the 5 lbs ones my wife uses when she works out.
This is based on absolutely nothing.LIKE I SAID...HE AINT COMIN BACK. If he does, we still cannot count on him being there each week...furthermore, being that stud olineman we all loved. Reality may be stranger than fiction. We must get used to Joe Looney..he is the future at center going forward...and it could be much worse. Looney is fine by me.
So when do you think he comes back? I hope this year but I don't think so at all. This is based on absolutely nothing.
I don't know. Nobody knows, guessing is a fool's game at this point. So when do you think he comes back? I hope this year but I don't think so at all.
