I 100% think he's back next year. I am going to safely say there is little to no chance he plays this year.
Which means that any claim he's never playing again is based on nothing. Anyone who says anything other than "I don't know" is full of it.
it may be a bad comp...but its the best one at this point. Business is business, and the NFL tends to be the most brutal. I assure you, the team isn't counting on his services this year,and if by chance he does play soon...the expectations are being set realistic.

It's not about being right or wrong it's based on an opinion or gut feeling. My brother practices Anesthesia and I spoke to him about it when it first happened. His told me odds are he comes back and can fully recover but more than likely doesn't see a down this year. He is a Steelers fan so I don't know how serious I can take him lol.

yup, its ridiculous...but my stance is the person. The fact is Fred needs to look long term and so does the club. My gut says that's what is happening. Hoping for a full recovery,but if that happens he will still be week to week because my understanding is he can have flare ups happen.

You can look up the disease yourself and see there was another pro lineman that had it and gave his personal experience with it. And can make a pretty good educated guess. So you think he will return this year?

I have spoken to extended family about this and I have siblings in the medical field that see this daily...AND YES..I read up on it. I admittedly knew nothing about it,but after much studying etc...I think its a safe bet that if he plays,it wont be this year...and if he does, he will be watched closely.
