We can change Jerry being the owner/GM of the cowboys.

Find solutions ? Unless you were just hired as the Coach/General Manager how are you the fan going to find solutions ?

Bottom line you as a fan can do one of two things follow your team or don't. Period. That's it.

I myself will follow me team, be optomistic, and hope for the best.

Because it sure could be worse; see Commanders/Lions/Browns/Texans...

wow... try to take this in slowly... you do NOT provide solutions for the dallas cowboys.... you are a fan. you get zero votes on any aspect of the organization except whether or not to buy swag... that's all....

you are merely crying for crying's sake. do not pretend it changes anything.

I have enough sense to worry about the things I can change.

How does tilting at windmills work for you?

It could have been phrased better. Let me clarify for you. How about this? As fans we can discuss possible solutions the coaches might try to fix our losing ways at the end of every season. Does that sit a little better with you?

I am really surprised that many posters who's contributions I like and appreciate are so stubborn about the major deficiencies on our team.

Yeah, let's put enough pressure on the owner .... oh wait.

Now wait don't get me wrong, is it frustrating ? Hell yeah.

But I believe, and trust that the coaching staff and owner willl be able to pull through this.

If not ? We try this again next year where you, I, and everybody else will be here hoping that it will be different.

Trent Dilfer is on with Collin Cowherd and just said that he thinks we beat the Chargers, Saints and Eagles.

He feels that the Cowboys match up will against the Saints and can move the ball on them.

Man, that is going on the limb.

Did Cowherd kick him off his show after that, for saying something positive about the Cowboys....i'm surprised with his hatred of the Cowboys, he would have allowed that on the air.........

They have proven themselves incapable of winning when it matters.

This is a loser's mentality. Even if you lose 100 times in a row, it doesn't prove you incapable of anything. Winners shut up and do the impossible.

Results matter. When you are the Dallas Cowboys Championships matter.

Results flow from process. You don't just get results from stomping your feet and demanding them.

Right now Dallas faces a crisis of confidence. They need to get back to fundamentals, regain confidence in what they can do well, and find resolve to beat the Chargers. They don't need berating and a recitation of their past mistakes. It's up to Wade to convince them that they can overcome the obstacles.

Frankly, despite my distaste for Phillips' Kum-ba-yah, everything-is-okay attitude, I much prefer it to those of you who want to minimize the team's accomplishments and downplay the excellent position they find themselves in 12 weeks into the season.

So the have proven capable of wining in critical games? When was this? I must have missed it some how.

I have not minimized their accomplishments. In fact, if you read my posts this season you will know the opposite is true. I have been one of the more vocal supporters of nearly every aspect of the team. The fact that they are losing games they need to win in order to move on to the next portion of the process you like to talk about can not and should not be ignored.

Trent must have gotten hit harder in his career than I ever realized.

Trent's a good fan.
It's good to see someone moving against the tide once in a while.

Wow. Trent must really hate his job at ESPN. We're going to beat the Chargers and Saints in a 6 day span? That would be pretty impressive.

If we beat the Chargers, Saints, and he also thinks we'd beat the Eagles then I'd be hoping for a 4-0 sweep for the end of the season. I think we could take all four teams if they can beat the Chargers and Saints.
Not to mention improbable. It's going to be very hard to make the playoffs this year, but I'm still hoping we can. If we get in anything can happen.

We can beat anybody!

Unfortunately, we can also lose to anybody.

Especially this time of the season...

yes he has ran screen in SD with a Sproles he was unable to get the Cowboys to execute that same screen so how is he the master. Because he now has the personal and the backs who can execute it? I don't compare Garrett with Norv but either your own blind hatred of Garrett or you lack of understanding is preventing you from seeing this offense is playing well and Romo is having a very good season, he has cut down on turnovers and is avoiding making many of the mistakes he has in the past. I'm sure you will credit Romo for that and claim the Garrett has nothing to do with that.
Did I say the fault is with Romo? Garrett has nothing to do with Romo's ability to buy time, because of Garrett's crappy play-calling... And we have personal backs to execute the screen, whihc confirms my point.... And no, our offense isn't playing well. Racking up yardage and not scoring may be playing well in your book, but yards don't win games.. When your not playing at your talent level, your not playing well...

Romo improvement is protecting the ball making better reads does fall with the player and the coach as it does for every other QB out there. Dallas offense is the 3rd ranked offense in the league doing so with only 2 1st rd picks on it. I think Garrett knows hell of a lot more about this offense than you could ever dream of.

Romo is protecting the ball, because everybody has been telling Romo to protect the ball and not throw into coverage... And Dallas is the 3rd ranked offense in yardage, genius, not points. And Dallas was top 5 in yardage with Sparano... It's called talent level...

So of course the coach does not count? it does for every other player out there but because you have a bug up your backside with Garrett he has done nothing to help. This offene is one of the better offense in the league genius but evidently you are so agenda driven you can't see it. Pathetic. As for scoring we are in the top part of the league at 23.2 per game.

Do you approve of how he splits up the carries for the runningbacks? I don't.

bingo.... So we aren't top 5 or top 10 in scoring, right?'Top-part' meaning top 15 teams, while being number 3 in the offense in yards, meaning teams are giving us the yardage and simply stopping us in shorter yardage scenarios... The reason being, Garrett only has one passing route and that is deep...
