Every single person whose job it is to know football would say he played better this year than last year. That is not flat. That is trending up.
On PFF he was rated 59.5 in 21 and 66.9 in 22, so you're right. Without those 11 interceptions in 21, he would have probably been in the 12-14 range. Good for him

Come on. Mid season he started refusing to engage in contact. It was clear as day. His pass rating against in Yr 2 was 30 points lower than last year. Dude had 7 tackles in his last 5 games last year. Just stop.
You are right, you know better than GMs, coaches, players, and scouts who all realized that nothing you said is how you judge a CB. He did get a lot of INTs 2 years ago but he also gave up a ton of yards. The job of a CB is to make it so the QB does not want to throw the way of the CB. The fact that 2 years ago teams were still throwing at Diggs was because while he could get INTs he was also very prone to giving up the big play. By cutting that out of his game he improved drastically to the point where teams were just not throwing his way anymore. That is how you measure a CB and it is why all of the above saw improvement.

I thought looking for a trade for Diggs was a better play considering the money he would make. Not a fan of his unwillingness to play behind his pads. The most effective DBs cover well and show up to defend the run.

You wouldn't have paid Prime? I'm not putting Diggs up there, but being a ball hawk is a rare trait and he wasn't going to go without in any circumstance.
Those opposed to this would be the same that complain that our secondary gets burned by the big WRs.
Diggs is a vital component in a pass first league, don't care if he made some business decisions.
I'm sure this was a part of the discussion prior to signing the extension.
Banking on Diggs being a huge cog in this secondary now for years, big boys looming in the back seven, Kearse loves it as well as Gillmore.

Considering that he still has room to develop (which I do), this is a pretty good signing.

I'm surprised. Thought Diggs would have been a lower priority signing.

Overshown is a hybrid here.

Where do players like Joseph, Coyle fit if a player like Scott shows them both up?

Where does Bell fit if he doesn't show up?

What is Cox, and where does he belong, is he already phased out?

Coyle, Bell, Cox all on the bubble early, they have to show something.
