There was a reason they traded for Lance to begin with. I think he was insurance for this exact scenario right here. I don’t think Dak gets the extension and plays out his final year at whatever ungodly salary it is but it’s make or break.

He will be gone in 2025

You really think that, don't you?

That there are 28 mediocre QBs in the NFL?

Goodness no wonder some of ya'll believe in Dak.
Pretty much...AS much as you hate Dak. It's plenty of teams wish they had a q.b. that finishes 12-5 three straight years...Dak is going to finish 2nd in the MVP. He lead the league in Td's thrown. He lead the league in GBR... or top 5. So yea... plenty of NFL teams that wish their q.b. had these numbers.....Bet Belichick would take Dak in Atlanta as soon as he got hired.

If that's the case. Should Belichick be hired at Atlanta, the first thing we should do is put him to the test.

Save the 35M in cap and let Prescott walk if he doesn't take a team friendly deal.

Lance has a better arm and better feet, he needs to get smarter with more reps and experience.

Dak has mental problems and it's too damn bad, because when he's comfortable he can ball out

Well that might work if your GM didn't let Dak have a no trade clause in his contract. So once again Jerry screws up....But it's Dak

Lance holds that football way too low, next to his waist. Easy for a Dlineman to knock it loose.

Watching Prescott up close has motivated him.

Pay no attention to Brandon's comments. He's like 12 years old and supports anything the team does.

If he isnour hope then we are in deep doodoo.

We have to draft a QB in first two rounds as we look to the future.

Let's use all of our picks to draft QB's, after we already wasted a 4th on Trey Lance and commit $250M to Dak for the foreseeable future. That sounds like a great plan. Especially since we have no other holes in our roster. Only if we could find a QB.

Let's see how many QB's we can have on the practice squad.

It's hilarious and pathetic to listen to people try to justify why Fat Mike just HAD to come back. They all sound like Jerry...the very best way forward is to keep farting and falling down!!!

Before any fans get excited about Trey Lance winning the back up QB job next year, he will get it by default. Trey is guaranteed $5M next year.

The best one was to keep developing Trey Lance. Hilarious.
Do any of us really believe Mike has even talked to Lance yet? I was shocked to see him talking to Lamb over on the bench against Green Bay. I was like, is this walkabout coach ACTUALLY laying down the law? Or was he just telling him about this burger joint he visited? Dak still stinks, but McCarthy is going to turn Lance into Aikman?
