Tropical Storm / Hurricane Harvey

My hometown! The sea walls are great for mitigating storm surge but you can't get around the flooding when a hurricane comes through.

Board up and stay safe @CCBoy

...it's only projected to be a Level 1, but between Friday and Monday the prediction is from 10 to 15 inches of rain. We'll be riding it out and hoping for the best here. Not supposed to be in a high flood zone, but streets will be flooding in Corpus Christi. Wish us luck...
Stay safe brother. People have overbought everything in Houston.

Of course bro...I will be thinking and wishing you the best....please be safe

Hopefully it only becomes a cat 1. It's going under rapid intensification. No shear out in the gulf. Some models show it possibly being a cat 3 along with the crazy amount of rain. Two high pressure systems may cause it to stall over Texas.

Latest update is shifting West, the Corpus area should be where the eye lands. Expected to be a cat 3 then move slowly North. Those people who left Houston towards San Antonio need to head back :omg:
