Do you, right now today, still believe Dak is a top 10 QB?
After what I saw on Sunday?

Absolutely not.

However with the slop this FO ran out there at WR I think there are maybe 3 QBs in the NFL that could have looked like a top ten QB on Sunday.

Let me guess. You skimmed my whole post. lol

Your entire life revolves around being right about Dak. Its actually quite sad.

I don't want to be right about Dak. I would prefer he be great so the Cowboys could be great.

But I mean, it was always obvious to me. You know this. We've argued about this plenty of times. I told you exactly what this offense would look like.

You can blame this or that all you want, and you're justified in that because I agree, the WR's (as I said all offseason) are not good enough either, but make not mistake about it, Dak is a huge weak link too.

I never said he wasnt.

All I am saying is he is a part of the problem. Not THE problem.

This offense as a whole from scheme to players is atrocious. Moore has no feel for the game. At all. Zeke was averaging 5 yards a clip. Lets sit him and get pass happy with long developing routes that the other team knows are coming with a rookie at LT and a backup at LG who is getting beat like a drum.

Makes total sense. Mike McCarthy doesnt even know the terminology of the offense. After 3 years.

You give Dak a Sean McVay and I think he becomes a lot better. Honestly I dont think any coach cures what happened Sunday. That was an organizational failure from top to bottom. Including Dak.

I also agreed with you about the offense if you remember correctly lol. I dont even know why we are arguing right now.

Yep...........running your mouth like that means nothing. And on the other side of the coin..................Brady after the game was pissed off talking about how poorly they played and how they had a lot of work to do.

Instead country club guys like Dak and Zeke are talking about going deep into the playoffs. LOL

It's the environment Jerry has created. He is the face of the franchise so it's no wonder why most of the players are filled with hot air like Jerrah.

Maybe the QB doesn’t have a chance because the defense knows the play they are running?

Dak was horrible Sunday.
Period.
But Moore did him no favours . Like at all.
The big majority is on Moore...and his bosses that let it happen. This stinks to high heaven.

We still don't have a viable backup quarterback, so we're screwed no matter what Dak says until they find Cooper Rush's replacement.

They haven't signed anyone yet, but they should have. Just wait a couple more weeks, and we'll have a new QB on the roster.

Just in time to be too late to matter.

What else is he going to say?He certainly isn’t going to speak the truth and say,”you fans and my boss(dumb & dumber) are stupid for actually believing that I’m any good.”

Maybe ... "We have a lot of work to do to get better. But I and this team are going to do what it takes to put ourselves in a position to contend for a championship. If we don't, it won't be because of our work ethic."

Yeah, not enough words in the English language to craft a statement that is a little less, unnecessarily braggadocious. ;)

You can give Dak whatever coach you want, but if your offense requires him to pass the ball a lot you're not going to be successful.

We're arguing because it seems you believe Dak is being mismanaged when in reality he's just not good.

We agree on most things, but this is just not one of them lol

Speaking of McVey, I'd take Goff over Dak at this point. I believe that when all is said and done Goff will be the best QB out of that 2016 class, while Dak will remain the most popular one.

I'm a believer in Karma, or in more general terms, "what goes around comes around".

I can't blame Dak for getting as much money as he can - it's mostly a short term business for most players and it can be like winning the lottery. But he only set himself up for failure if he didn't have the ability to back up any talk or justify the financial obligation and the inner fortitude and confidence required to play the QB position at such a high level. This means he will fall hard and be seen as a bust (not for where he was drafted, but for the contract he received). At least he will have loads of dollars bills to wipe away the crocodile tears.

I think JJ doing Romo wrong for Dak way back in 2016 in the "eyes of the football gods" is also coming back to haunt him.

The fact of the matter is he has proven that he can perform at a high level. 7 weeks last year isnt a small sample.

This team as a whole has gotten progressively worse since that Denver game last year. What is the one constant? Moore. His scheme has not changed. So no. We dont agree that Dak isnt good. I want to see him in a new scheme. Not a new coach. A new SCHEME. Because the Cowboys are still running the same crappy scheme that Garrett implemented here.

I would also bet money if Jerry called Detroit and offered Dak for Goff they would run to Arlington to file the paperwork. Stop it already.

I have come to this conclusion:
Dak is a quality person.
But does not have the skill set needed
To play QB at a high level consistently in the NFL.
Hate to say this as we have no viable alternative.
He has been given great talent to work with since he came into the league in 2016. He really hasn't done that much with it in the best of times. He has been wayyyyy over compensated for the ability he possesses. If this team is going to be successful, it will largely be defensive led. And the reason is Jerry put too many eggs in one basket.
