As predicted, some chose #1 including me, by accident, but that isn't the point. I don't have an issue with the priority of winning championships, I just have an issue with posting something during insomnia.
Some of you chose the option of getting rid of Dak after another failed season over winning a championship and giving him the contract he wants. I don't understand. Have you also been up way too long?
When you watch the games during any particular season, what outcome do you hope for? As a Cowboy fan, is winning the game important? If you criticize a Cowboy player because you don't think he is good enough, would you rather be right or would you rather be wrong? What gives you more satisfaction, the Cowboys winning or being able to inform everybody how right you were?
Here is the most important reality in all of this.....the Dallas Cowboys could win the Super Bowl. You may think it improbable, but it certainly isn't impossible. It could happen.
They do have immense offensive talent and likely sufficient defensive talent. They do have experienced Super Bowl winning coaching. At the very least, they do have a top ten QB according to almost every single metric used to measure this.
Either scenario is absolutely possible. Then what? We hand him over to another team and search for another QB who can ......do exactly what Dak did??
