I'm fine with it. I'm not the guy standing on an island. That'd be you. Everybody else knows this is a terrible contract.

Hyperbole serves no one.

He had the most sacks+hits+pressures on the squad last year rushing from the strongside, a position he had never played before.

Is he overpaid? Certainly but not by as much as you would have us believe.

I have no idea what your intent is. Anyone who reads this site knows you hate 98 yet you feel the need to spam every thread about him with this take. We get it, you think he is a terrible player. Time to move on.

Sure you can......If he fails a physical it happens all the time......you may have to make an injury settlement........but if it is a 6 month recovery he wouldn't be expected to miss any time

bk I could be wrong but I think the CBA will not allow you to cut an injured player that's on your final game day roster. I believe the injury settlements you're referring to are done during preseason. Yes those are done all the time.

It really comes down to if his salary is guaranteed for injury or not

TCrawford's base salary of 7.25m fully guaranteed on March 11th so it was probably already guaranteed for injury before then, so it is a moot point anyways

Yeah, once I heard it was labrum I posted itd be a while, if even, that he was back to normal before the season. I doubt it.

I wonder if that Achilles injury led to him going too hard on upper body without doing supplemental prevention stuff, that's usually how big guys get them.

Let that be a lesson kids, always do shoulder rehab if you're going hard on the weights. 2X a week. Get some bands and a good little routine. Shoulder injuries suck, I tore my cuff and slept in a sling for 3 months sitting up, roll over on accident and cry like a little girl. Not cool

Mayowa had more sacks then him and didn't play near as much.

He surgery was right after the season. No sense getting too wrapped up in the drama about his contract or his physical well-being until right before training camp which is 4 months away.

Right. No use in being worried about another shoulder surgery in consecutive years. No pattern developing there! No way!

What we all also "get" is the constant struggle of you and bknight to try to rally to defend this terrible deal with "hurries" and then an attempted qualifier on just how much he's overpaid, as if it's up to either of you to give everyone else the exact figures.

And I've honestly grown tired of the constant misportrayal of my intentions. I've stated ad nauseum that I hate the contract not the player. He's a round peg in a square hole, miscast in a 4-3 defense. But he's an expensive mistake and a miscalculated contract that due solely to restructuring, they can't get out of.
