News: U Turn - Randy Gregory Is A Bronco

That would be fine if they had done that originally and not tried to switch it at the last minute. And the only issues he's ever had were smoking weed..which is ok now. Stupid by the Jones boys.
I said this before that news broke.

Won’t be surprised if we learn:

1 Denver made an offer
2 Randy let Cowboys match it
3 The contract had protections for the Cowboys that Randy felt went too far
4 Randy took the safest route for himself

if that’s the case, it’s just business on both ends.

To fans, it's only business when the teams cut players. When players want a new contract, then they're just greedy bastids. I still remember when Demarcus Ware was turned on. Leading up to the cut, it was just business. He leaves and gets a dang good deal from Denver and then he was never that good anyway and a bum. That's why players ignore fans in doing what's best for them, as they should.

No he is a head case for flipping back and forth on this. going to Denver were the reports, then he agrees with Dallas, then says no, going to Denver.

However, he needs to do what is best for him. So doesn't matter. I think Dallas is better off in the long scheme of things.

Again..they changed the contract language at the last minute. How anyone thinks that's Gregory's fault is wild.

LMAO at the people who think weed is physically addictive. You stop smoking and you jones for a day. Then it's over.

I like Randy but at that cost it’s better if the Broncos have him. His sack numbers weren’t that impressive all things considered and his inability to keep a level head in crunch time has hurt us on multiple occasions. Let’s see if we can find a player in the draft.

I'd be upset if I felt Gregory was the difference-maker the Cowboys had to have. I don't feel that way. It's a toss-up what happens with him in Denver. The fact is he missed a lot of games for us and he had many games where his impact wasn't really felt. He wasn't exactly a lock for not missing more games down the line. He's always been a gamble and I think the label still applies.

Good. Rather not risk money on a guy who let the cowboys down what twice already. Why try for a 3rd time?

Many of you are missing the big point in this. The big issue isn't with not bringing Gregory back or the need for a behavior clause. The issue is that this front office already has a bad reputation when it comes to contract negotiations whether being cheap, kicking guys on the way out, etc, but now you add sneaky bad faith negotiation to that list. The front office is going to have a hard time with big free agents, both in-house and outside FAs. Von Miller and Chandler Jones may be upgrades over Gregory, but good luck having good negotiations with them.

DWare is in my all time top 10. I’m glad he went and got a ring for himself!

This is what life with Stephen Jones running this is yall. Good luck. I really don't care anymore. Jerry got the deal done and someone, probably Stephen, sabatoged it.

I imagine all information to reporters is coming out from the Gregory camp. I don't think to highly of Stephen Jones but I would like to hear the Cowboys perspective when it comes to this.

And why players look out for themselves first, and the team(s) second.

Could care less about his smoking habits as the league is still living in the past and always will be. Admittedly, I was a fan of 94. He gave you 110% effort for 100% of the time. Armstrong can't even carry 94's jockstrap so let's not pretend that this is a next man up situation. I'm beyond sick of this stupid front office and the crap that they feed us fans on a daily basis.

I'm willing to bet that they blame some intern for making a copier 'mistake'. Wouldn't put it past them.
