This is great. The thread is trash. The official is always trailing the play and have to touch it. We basically blocked the guy! Sorry the team blew it no matter how many stupid threads
Your post is trash.

1. Oh yeah, it was my primary point, when my very first post centered around the GIF and didn’t mention this secondary point at all. And what I actually said which you responded to was:

I was speaking purely about the delay caused by the ref shuffling the ball.

I know and YOU KNOW VErY WELL you are relying on this secondary point, which doesn’t even help your point anyways, because you know how wrong you are regarding the actual issue, you just trying to save face..

2. I asked you where the ref is in the image when Dak aren’t down. Not you claiming “facts” that are based on evidence like “complete madness”.

You made specific points about the spotting of the ball by Biadasz and the ref. I showed you the visual evidence in the photo sequence. You went back and edited your posts so you didn’t have to deal with it.

You claimed there was no evidence regarding the Rams game and the freakin GIF was in the original post.

You mind-blowingly claim I’m making assumptions and yet your entire premise is based on “there’s no way the ref can see!!”

I just quoted what I said. You keep making claims with ZERO evidence.

It was you that brought up where Biadasz spotted it.

Biadasz tried spotting the ball at the 23.5 yard line. The ref tried putting it at the 24.5 yard line but was pushed out the way under Biadasz and he let it go at about the 24 yard line.

This response was your very first response to my first response in this thread which stated:

Romo said the empire only had to touch the ball before the snap. This is correct. In fact @DOUBLE WING provided a GIF from the Cowboys-Rams game from the past showing how a touch is sufficient.

2. If you go to around 50 seconds, what actually screwed the Cowboys was the ref re-spotting the ball, only to place it back where Biadasz had already set it. It’s that DELAY which looks like it caused the time to run out.

So the ref completely botched it

You also originally tried claiming the refs second spot was because Biadasz pushed him. Then you flip flopped to the following in your series of GIFs which show nothing in reality other than the absurd lengths you are going to defend an argument that is indefensible:

4. Even then, the ref allows Biadasz to move the ball up in an effort to expedite the play

Do first the ref is out of control, because Biadasz hits him, now he allows Biadasz to move the ball up to expedite the play. He’s now doing this per your latest argument in total control, while running into Dak and the Center like a wrecking ball, coming in from like 25 yards away because he’s not trailing the play..

Sure Buddy. The calculated and calm ref in the Rams-Cowboys game is the one that made the mistake, because otherwise it would be ‘complete madness’. The ref that is trailing from 25 yards, comes in like a wrecking ball and shuffles the ball twice with the final shuffling even being a more inaccurate spot is right…

You don’t even know what your talking about.

Loooool, smh.

I see what you’re doing. You ask me for evidence…I give it to you and then you pivot and claim it wasn’t your point or simply claim I have “zero evidence” and hope someone reading believes you.

So let’s cut to the chase because I think your ignorance on the subject matter comes down to this simple question:

Do you believe the center can spot the ball where he wants and the ref’s only role is to “touch the ball.”

Where is the evidence? You haven’t brought a single quote regarding what you claim I stated. I brought the quotes which clearly establish I’m right and you are wrong.

Nobody argues the Center “can spot the ball where he wants”.. the WR in the Rams-Cowboys game didn’t spot the ball where he wanted, meaning OT wasn’t “complete madness” when the ref tapped it to allow the ref to snap the play..

You claim a completely incorrect premise that the Rams-Cowboys GIF shows the WR placed it where he wanted and not accurately, which is why the ref was wrong. Yet, the WR was accurate..

So you are conveniently trying to change the course of the argument without bringing any evidence for your claims to save face..

About what moron, lool?

What question are you now asking since you’ve admittedly gone back and edited your posts and have since pivoted?

Are you actually claiming you didn’t make a point about Biadasz spot being more accurate than the refs?

Freakin’ mind numbing, smh

So how did I edit my first two responses when the time expiry passed after 20 minutes? You have the quotes in your responses Buddy that show I clearly didn’t ‘pivot’ those points. You don’t even have to quote my posts, you can quote your first posts which quote my posts to demonstrate how wrong you are.

Why you keep taking Ls?

So now the excuse is you can’t provide the evidence, because I keep editing my posts.

Rich.. What’s clear is YOU pivoted your posts, when you first claim the ref placed the ball down by force of Biadasz hitting him, then you leaked the ref gave him that favorable spot out of the kindness of his heart..

I know there’s a zillion threads about this, but I haven’t seen this posted.

I was in section C312 and I had a perfect view of the final seconds. My friend, seated next to me, was recording those last sections on his cell phone.

Yeah, it probably wasn’t the best play call but what I can tell you is that there was plenty of time still on the clock when Dak slid. He didn’t do anything wrong with the ball. There’s one referee who is charged with placing it.

Now you can call this conspiratal, you can say that this particular referee was daydreaming or maybe he just never expected a QB draw, but he was 15 yards behind the line of scrimmage when the play started and he stayed there until the moment that Dak slid.

Then, and only then, did he start sprinting toward the line to spot the ball. I watched this with my own eyes. No matter what Dak did with the ball or who he handed it to, there was a snowball’s chance in inferno that his referee was going to get there in time. None.

So go ahead and blame Kellen Moore. And trust me, I’m not one to say the fix was in. But the game was a comedy of errors by the officials and that ball should have been spotted with enough time for one more play call.

Remember one more thing:

There were controversial outcomes in the games against both the Raiders and Cardinals. If Dallas wins one of those games, they were playing Philly yesterday. If they win both, they had a bye week.

I get it - play well enough that the outcome can’t come down to a play decided by the referees. OK. But we were robbed yesterday, pure and simple.

Flame away.

Dak would have probably thrown a pick the next play anyway.

Luuulz, so what is your question you buffoon?

You literally think where a player spots the ball makes it official because Romo said all the ref had to do is touch the ball.

Go ahead and deny that.

Because I will quote you, lool

Are you honestly “lool” to that?

Why would I deny that I said Romo even said it? That would be “argumentum ab auctoritate” and is completely valid in this case, especially in relation to a guy like you, whose argument rests on “complete madness” not actual experience playing the game at a professional level and being in or seeing these type of situations multiple times. That was one reason among multiple reasons, which I gave. Another an argument based on actual precedent in a game that coincidentally, Dak played in, which corroborates what Dak said in the press conference after the game, which is also another “argumentum ab auctoritate” as well.

Robbed? The cowboys committed stupid penalty after stupid penalty. They didn’t have a chance.

Thank you.

Case closed.

You literally think a player can officially spot the ball where he wants and the refs job is simply to touch it (per Romo).

:lmao:

I say it every year…we’ve collectively got the dumbest fanbase in all of sports.

So tell me, how was it possible for the ref to gage how accurate the spot was that he reshuffled it a second time and the position he placed it in was actually more inaccurate then his first spot, when there was actual time in the clock to snap it?

You honestly are embarrassing yourself, with your teenage girl type posts…. It’s gone for luulz to lool to emojis after “case closed”, refuting premises that nobody holds, with zero evidence to establish that this premise was even claimed, while constantly claiming they hold them, because you can’t accept the clear L.

You are so rabid in your defense of refs, yet suddenly the ref that clearly provides precedent for the position I hold, is wrong, while the ref that runs into the QB and Center, because he was out of control as caused by running madly because he was 25 yards out of position and then shuffles the spot of the ball twice, the latter being more inaccurate, burning time of the clock, is right..

Let me guess? That ref is actually Superman and has X Ray vision.

OK Buddy..

No you don’t.

You can’t even attempt to talk about the play unless you have a basic understanding of the fundamental rules.

“The player put it on the 25-yard line but the RB was clearly down back at the 27? Welp, I guess I better just do my job and touch the ball.” — A Helpless Ref (allegedly)

So was it two yards or .5 feet or 1 foot or 8 inches?
Why you dealing in imaginary constructs and not what actually happened?

Where is the image that shows the ref when Dak slid forward? Obviously per your argument the ref wasn’t helpless despite being 25 yards away and vision blocked by players.. yet it’s pretty obvious he was helpless in this regard.

Oh, what’s your position?

That a ref apparently can’t adjust the location of the ball?
