Unfreaking believable...

If an true Cowboy fan cannot see what is really happening within these last 24 hours then they are as ignorant as the press reporting it.
This is ridiculous.
It really is.
I am so pissed right now it's tough to really say how bad the press really is.

I know TO brings a lot of this on himself but Dan Patrick and all those other idiots at ESPN can go to hell as far as I am concerned.

In other words...Get your story right before you report it!!!!!!!!!!
Journalist's???????????????
Suicide????
Psychological problems???

Where are the getting this crap from?

Right now I would love an hour alone with Dan Patrick to take out my frustration on!:espn:

I don't know. None of us will ever know for sure, but that's my point. The "move on, nothing to see here" posts are woefully premature. If I were the Cowboys, I'd proceed on the assumption that he tried to take his own life and monitor him very closely. Anything short of that would be irresponsible.

Well, I hope the Cowboys monitor EVERY player on the team, not just T.O.! However, the events that took place and his actions in his interview just do not seem like a person with enough trials and tribulations to want to kill himself...it just not seem to add up...

Now, if he scores a touchdown in the next game and pulls out a knife cutter and slashes his wrist on the field...then I would be worried!

It's all good in the end...

Kick Cowboy management? Why? If anyone's an innocent bystander in this mess, it's them. But to swallow the "official" story peddled by TO's team--just because they say so--is the height of idiocy.

There are two versions to choose from

1. TO took 35 pills was rushed to the hospital had his stomach pumped, was released and back at practice in less than 14 hours. After practice he dawned a red cape and saved babies from a burning orphanage

OR

2. He had a bad reaction to his medication his publicist freaked out, the paramedics asked him their scripted questions while he was dazed, he went to the hospital and it was found to be nothing serious he was released and went to practice later in the day

Now the question you have to ask yourself. Is TO really superman? Or did the media get it wrong

And wouldn't they keep him in the hospital and monitor him? Would the police say this is not a criminal matter but a medical matter and drop it? The facts seem to support a misunderstanding, and believing that TO is probably telling the truth seems rational to me. Why is that less rational than believing TO is lying at this point with the facts as they are?

I'm saying that there's too many people on this board willing to sweep this under the rug and "move on." If a congressman was caught with $50,000 in a shoebox, would we accept his version of events and just drop it? Of course not. But some are all too eager to bow before Team TO, who have every incentive to lie to protect their cash cow. If the police set him up or quoted him inaccurately, then prove it. Getting back on the field doesn't mean he's not a troubled man.

Or maybe the just look at the facts, see the ridiculous media circus T.O. generates regardless if it's his fault, and know he's not at fault in this case.

But, I'm glad to see something unexpectedly different from you Mr. Positive.

It's amazing sometimes how easy the truth really is to see if you just use your eyes and think. Brilliant post.

Yes there was! And, they did it without even waiting for any real facts to come out!

It's amazing what people reveal about themselves during incidents like this...it makes you change your perspective about some posters that otherwise you never new existed....

Was it a "misunderstanding" when he told the police 1) he tried to harm himself, and 2) he was depressed? You can't easily make that go away.

"But, but, he was delusional and didn't know what he was saying!"

Go peddle that crap somewhere else.

What came first? The media following T.O. around or a series of incidents causing T.O. to draw attention to himself? Think about that before you all start blaming the media. They ARE out of control but they did not in any way START the saga that is T.O.

But they have the POWER to STOP it.

WHAT in the name of unholy norse gods was TO caught with? his prescription medicine?

the truly desperate people ran to "why were they all loose in his drawer??? HUH??????? and again were shot down hard and in flames because ladies and gentlemen, a hand injury will make it tough to open the childproof bottles.

so out of convenience he had someone open it and dump them out. first was WHERE ARE THEY???? in reference to the pills. they were missing. the bottle was empty - TO must be evil and trying to kill himself!!! him saying he only took like 5 had to be a lie - the bottle was empty!!!!

one of many rush off to judgements people do when presented with ONLY surface evidence.

when they're found they can't back off, they gotta keep pressing, no matter how stupid it makes them look.

anything to keep the hate alive.

So in your opinion it is IMPOSSIBLE that after he passed out, and woke up in a daze suffereing from bad reaction to his medicine. He was a little incoherrant?

Um, since they found him unresponsive, isn't it possible that he didn't properly understand their questions? I hope that if I'm ever found unconscious or semi-conscious that people don't expect me to answer questions clearly and logically. Man--and I'm the one peddling something? I mean, I guess it's possible he's lying, but the fact seem to point to a misunderstanding to me. I don't intend to defend him, as I don't really like him, but it just seems the most sensible conclusion to me.

If you're unresponsive you don't give any answers. The fact that he gave answers suggests that he understood the questions. If there's one time to tell the truth, it's when you're in distress and your life is on the line--like his was.

That is seriously the stupidest thing I have ever seen. Just by answering proved he understood? Drunks answer questions do they understand what they are being asked or what they are saying? Does someone who is having a bad reaction to medication and has already passed out understand everything being said? I want you to answer quit dodging my posts
