Your shtick is tired. What Butler did happens hundreds of times without a call.
What schtick? It is a rule that was broken, and we were called for it. What about the blatent holds Mo Claiborne put on guys that didn't get called? You gonna cry about that too? We got outcoached and outplayed.

I dunno. How do you prepare for a penalty that's never enforced?

It's not like they had a delay of game because of the actions of butler.

They had the wrong guy in, the right one came in, and they ran a successful play.

Weirdly, the flag came after the play was over when clearly the penalty was always going to be imminent.

That's what really pisses me off

What a bunch of bums.

In the back of my mind, I kept thinking about the people who said they got the update a few days ago about Jordy Nelson being out for the Packers vs. The Falcons.

This is suspicious.

This is JG's 7th season as the HC and 10th season as coach for the Boys. He should know that this could be called. It's his job to know and not chance it.

God, I hate blanket statements like this because they are so subjective.

1) As another poster put it how can you anticipate something that NEVER happens, or at least is never called? As someone with management experience I can attest to the fact you can tie yourself up in knots trying to design a strategy for every concieveable possibility. Its also unworkable because there are only so many hours that players and coaches can use in a week.

2) A sideline in a football game is organizational chaos. There are so many moving parts, from players to coaches to calls to getting the right players & packages on the field. BB got confused and thought he was apart of the package so he ran out there. If he hadn't and JG had to burn a TO we would have been killing him and Garrett the other way.

3) Everyone lauds Mike McCarthy for how well prepared his teams are. Yet his team did the exact same thing. The difference was they didn't get called for it and Dallas did.

IMO, it was a bull^&%p call. Fundamentally I just don't like when refs interject themselves into playoff games on ticky-tac infractions. Refs need to exercise discretion in playoff games and let the players on the field decide the outcome.

At worst there should have been a warning issued to Garrett & staff over that as the letter of the rule wasn't violated.

Oh, the whole follow the rules shtick, got it.
The calls evened out shtick. Dallas had two illegal contacts go in their favor.

Green Bay got:
The Butler fiasco. Never called. Happens every game. Without a huddle. Or communication.
The Witten end zone tackle following a hold that lasted for three seconds.
A pass interference call on an uncatchable ball with contact that occurred while the QB had the ball.
And a reverse choke hold on David Irving on the GW pass.

Evening that out would be calling that last one and letting the game actually be settled on the field. And this after the Dez fiasco against the same team two years ago.

Dallas made too many mistakes. The spike. The first drive throw on 3rd. Jones on the last play. But they fought through it all and made it a game. The refs tipped it over for the Pack.

A huddle happens on every play. As a NFL HC who is getting paid millions a year need and should know every rule pertaining to the huddle and avoid any potential situation that may get a flag thrown. That's what's called attention to details and getting your team prepared.

By the way ARod was able to get us on a quick snaps multiple times, it was obvious this team was not well prepared.

No, the refs called the game as they saw fit. The Cowboys couldn't get over their own lapses in judgment/playcalling to win. It is pretty simple. The rules are available for everyone to view before the season starts. Butler broke a rule, it was called, and we got penalized. Nothing new.

But he didn't. And LOL at penalty not seen in 3 decades = nothing new.

Watch the games next week and concentrate on that specific penalty. Anyone want to bet you'll see it happening and it won't be called? Even if this BS is actually a penalty, 15 yards is ridiculous.....

It happened later in today's game. I deleted the dvr already, butv sometime must still have it.

I just have one question here. Why did they let the play go before calling the penalty? This should be a dead ball penalty, right? 12 men in the huddle is.....

I'm not saying that we would have won the game if this penalty had not been called, but I have some serious reservations as to why we are always the team that gets these calls and non-calls.

Funny that you exclude the blatant holding by Scandrick and Mo. How about we focus our blame on our idiot head coach who is consistently outclasses in nearly every game for about the last 7 years? His laughable bluders date back to when he was the OC before Wade Phillips got hired as the head coach.
