I would imagine that they're going to ease him back in considering how long he's been out, so if we're going to see a game that "features" Vick and what he can do, it wouldnt surprise me if its against us.

Unfortunately, It will be against Dallas.

They live for making Dallas look stupid.

Eh..he was a distraction the Cowboys certainly didn't need.

Don't even know if the guy has anything left.

Exactly, on both counts. McNabb cant be happy about it, plus he's old and they sign some guy who spent the last 18 months in prison. The first INT Mcnabb throws those philly fans are gonna be chomping at the bit for Kibbles and Vick to start.

The only team in the NFC East this is bad for is the one paying money to have him on their team.

I dont know, him in washington couldnt help Jason Campbell very much either

He is an incredible athlete that can play multiple positions and create matchup problems. With the weapons that the Eagles already have and then adding Michael Vick to the equation is not something that defenses can easily overlook. $1.6 million is chump change considering the options that will be available to them.

Ha ha! i think this is funny. I can't imagine much of a PR hit with the Philly fans, since most probably beat their dogs too.

Just heard on local news.
Strange that they would break the story first but my location is Vick's hometown and current home as well so if any local news would be on top of it, it would be ours.
I'm guessing this is a complete scoop as far as the internet is concerned right now so bear with it. Should be confirmed soon. unless they were pulling my leg.

**thanks for the title change. when I posted, I thought there would be confirmations immediately online but I guess that isn't the case yet.**
One hell of a good scoop Spectre. You beat every major news network to the story.

Thanks.

I was thinking the same thing. I even checked their schedule to see when he would be available to play. If I'm not mistaken, he will be available in week 7 against Washington.

Vick was an incredible athlete.

Right now, he's a 29 year old convicted felon who hasn't played football in close to two years.

I don't think the on-field impact will come anywhere close to the off-field impact.

they'll be the one's looking stupid when Vick gets creamed and fumbles left and right

me either...in fact I bet whatever he does on the field is gonna look pretty lousy if he ever does get on it

Well can't stand the guy for what he did to those dogs...so now I can hate him even more. :D

Wonder what McNabb thinks.

No, he's not. He's an overrated QB, who isn't nearly as athletic as people claim. He's athletic FOR A QB, not for a WR or a return man or even a RB.

Everyone needs to read this post over and over again.

Dang that's a good signing!...He'll play sometime this year and He'll do good. Good pick up eagles.

Exactly. As a QB, his athleticism sets him apart. If he's doing anything else, it doesn't.
