Find another team to back than.

Give up on my team because they are not winning SB's?...Not going to happen!

Being ok with not winning for the past decade?...NO I'm not a blind Homer like Some.

So if Terry Glenn makes that catch (SOMEONE WE DIDNT DRAFT) and we go on and have a run al la Giants, and win the Super Bowl, would you be singing another tune, possibly the correct tune.

What catch are you referring to?

Knowing it is one thing.

But hearing the names read off like that makes you cringe.

:eek::
would've, could've and should've, why are you trying to make a point about the past? The object right now is to work with what we have and get 53 players to take us forward into this next season.

I think the team is in the right direction. How does the accountablility that the Eagles have work out for them? Where is it written in some rules the team is here to please you?

To me, its my team and i choose to root for them and win or lose I am happy with my team. I love the players, coaches, scouting, all the way down to the little person. The Cowboys, teams people root for mean so much to them and to see them cheer whether win or lose is what means the most to some people.

And maybe there is something magical, and I think we all seen it when the roof came down, about this team and come the season we'll root, and scream and want to get autographs, because at the end of the day they are human beings doing the best they can.

There is that loser mentality again.

You can't shake that thing can you.

I am sorry some fans wanted a little more from the 2006 and 2007 drafts.

And you do know MBIII and Choice weren't in the 2006 and 2007 drafts right?

Hit play again.

Loser mentality? You are picking and choosing drafts to try and make the team and organization look bad. All you ever do is ***** and moan and deign to call me a loser?

When it comes to the 2006, I say its coming due for them to show something. You say they suck.

When it comes to the 2007 draft, I say it far to early to say anything definitive either way on these guys. You say we suck.

You're a quitter. You give up and then complain all day long. THAT is a losers mentality.

Terry Glenn dropped a big pass in that game? You must mean Crayton.

I could care less. Just pointing out that he might want to keep it in check if he wants his threads to stay around.

okay probably, memory isnt what it used to be. But either way I think if the pass was caught Dallas wins and I personally think Dallas could have made the same run the Giants made and taken the SB that year.

Why? Its far easier to give up and then and then call people losers when they try and make the best out of what we have.

Would appreciate a warning that you are dropping GD all over the place. Started to listen earlier with my toddler in the room. This is supposed to be a family place.

I suppose I should just ignore you from now on. It's becoming increasingly obvious that your primary goal is to stir the pot to drive traffic for your site, and the idea that you are doing it on the back of this forum is galling.

Terry Glenn had a catch that he promptly fumbled right at the goal line the last year he played here.

I think this team is changing for the better, yes I'm very happy about that. but I'm not one of those fans that's happy dandy weather We win or lose. I have always had high expecations for mY Boys, ALWAYS. And When Things are not going right it hurts man.. LIke last year when the eagles beat us to get in the playoffs. It felt like someone in my family died. and then when I see things that need to improve and have a legit concern, I see other fans all ncie nice and dandy talking abou Stats and whoopie Dooptie crap that doesnt matter at the end of the day. Like it's ok to lose or not get in the playoffs. That really bothers me. We are the Cowboys, not some scrub team.

No, that was a year earlier in Seattle.

Was the point of this thread that some of our recent drafts weren't as good as others? Is that the truth we're dropping? Or is it that some of us like losing if we don't agree the problem with the team is recent drafting? Because the first point is kind of obvious, isn't it? And the second is just a stupid argument.

Or is this another opportunity for DallasDomination to pat himself for throwing a tantrum about not winning in the playoffs and reminding us that he's not a fan of evidence for his opinions?

I kind of feel like we're skating all over the place here.

That's a cop out. How about you actually refute the point?

The point is that we got jack from those two drafts.

There is no refuting that.

And his point is that this the reason we have crappy depth now is because more than 2 of those players should be coming into their 3rd and 4th seasons and fighting for starting jobs.

And the only guy from those drafts who is a proven starter is Folk. We can hope about Spencer but he's a work in progress.

We understand how the teams are built. But anyone can build a team.

But if the team stinks then we should be talking about the poor job done in building it.

I think we all know we hit on some draft picks in late rounds over the years. We also hit on some FA's as well. But we all know we would have liked more from the 2006 and 2007 draft and because they stunk we are now where we are.

You know damn well Hos you didn't like hearing those names read and not hearing one name in there who has already 'wowed' you with what he's done for this team so far. It just sucks, plain and simple.

Lets make something clear that i have said for a long time, the combine tells you very little about players. Bottom line. Not all teams even draft well and we are not the only team to miss on players.

What if injuries didnt plague us last year and we did a run, would you sing yet another tune? So many factors go into a season, understand they cannot all be foreseen NOR does a draft play into the role of a season. Sorry not all of your draftees are going to make a season for you.

Really.

Now we are such a homer we are talking 'if's' and more 'if's' about some run to the Super Bowl.

You should have brought up the Crayton drop. That pass to Terry Glenn never got near him either.

God. We're one of the most talented teams in the league, across the board. That's where we are.

It makes as much sense to drop some truth on the 06, 07 drafts as it does spending time praising the 05, 08 drafts. At the end of the day, if your team wins games and the players you draft make your roster more than the players other teams draft make their rosters, then you're doing well.

There are so many reasons why the Dallas Cowboys haven't put it all together yet with the current crop of players. A problem with the group we've got selecting players these days is not one of them.
