So basically the Vikings are suppose to give him away for nothing, actually a loss. AP is not at advantage here per my understanding.

he is in complete control imo.He can refuse to restructure his contract and the vikings are forced to trade him.he can refuse to restructure with the team which traded for him and they might back out of the trade.Basically he can force the vikings to cut him unless he is traded to a team which he likes.

Why does your autocorrect keep changing words to 'nude,' I wonder.

Well.... You see... Me and a few others were gushing about black widow in another thread.... Oh never mind lol

Actually, someone posted on Facebook, links and pics of Cassandra Peterson (Elvira) nude from 1960s lol

I can only guess....you know?

But If I am AP. I just spent my career in a place that had no shot at a Super Bowl. None. I am one of the best RBs, in the history of the game. And I didn't even make a championship game....
.

Peterson made a NFC Championship game and fumbled it away.

I know. And they wont. I really think AP will be a draft day trade. Or close to it.

Minn may not get what they want out of him, but they arent walking away with nothing.

Some team will trade some picks for him.

Ohh yeah. I forgot about that game....

Technically, I think you would be correct, but if Peterson comes out and publicly and clearly says "I want out!" I can't see a modern day NFL team forcing a player to stay. Not if Peterson is willing to be the bad guy to get out.

Let me ask you politely, You really think AP would pass up the best offer on the table? I know people think Murray did but we don't know if he did or not. No one but him knows what Oakland put out there. AP on his very last payday will go to the highest bidder. And at his age they can have him. Our FO has shown great restrain this season. It needs to continue.

I don't think Peterson plays for less than 8m next year and probably not less than 10m. There is a market for his services and he doesn't have many years left.

His price will dive near or after the draft

Yep, that's what nobody is talking about. After the draft most teams will have filled their RB needs so if they wait that long to trade him good luck getting much in return. If Minnesota intends to trade him they would be wise to do it before the draft.

This response is exactly why he goes where he wants and why he holds the cards.

Vikings have no reason to panic in March. If a move is made by Minny, it won't happen until August.

I could see that. They could even keep him up until the final cuts of the pre-season. They will only have a $2.4 million dead money cap hit if they cut him this season. It doesn't matter if it is today or the day before the season starts. If they can't trade him might as well hang on to him for as long as possible.
