Vikings vs Saints thread

Coach Johnson just stated that as a coach he would’ve told the player during the timeout before the play to not interfere. So it’s not such a bad play after all. Bad, but not as bad as it looked. And it looked bad.

Whatever Williams does for the Saints his entire career he wasn’t worth it and the organization would be better off without him
I wouldn't say that. Several players have made bonehead plays during their careers. You don't give up on a good player for making a mistake, especially a rookie.

He just cost them, single handily, a shot at the Pats in the SB. Any JAG makes that tackle. He just ruined the entire organizations season.

Going big for the Vikes. Would not mind seeing them get their first SB win. So much great history between the Cowboys and Vikes.
My wife is from Minnesota and is a huge Vikes fan. Once the Cowboys are eliminated I pull for the Vikings (if they are still in it). She was on the verge of tears when they snapped the ball for that last play. She said out loud "We need a freaking miracle". She had tears in her eyes and they were going to drop anyway but they had a whole different meaning by the time they hit her chin. I haven't seen her that excited in a long time. So happy for her.

That’s exactly what happened... tape don’t lie

yup...he got out of the way because he got there too early and was afraid if he hit him...PI was gonna get called. 43 needs to be put on suicide watch though...Can't imagine a rookie ever gets over this.:(

43, a number that will live in infamy in New Orleans.
I wouldn't say the Saints should 'retire' number 43 but I don't think any future Saint player would want to be associated with the stench of 43.

I can't even imagine this board if it were the Cowboys and Heath or Jones did that to lose the game. And the defensive coordinator must be a huge idiot to call that defense on the final play. Just plain brutal.

It took the Vikings a long time but they finally get their own Hail Mary. I am so glad it wasn't against the Cowboys.
