The NFL has become more of a clique and family business, and talent evaluation is being done at an amateur level- just like the coaching.
Is this that hard to believe? Every year there are multiple teams who fail to play at the level they are expected to because of poor coaching.
And I would bet that you have complained about poor coaching, as well.

Because he has generally sacrificed his salary for championships understanding that the key to making perpetual big money after your career is over is to ge the greatest at your sport.

Well why do GMs and agents use stats in contract negotiations??? Why are players with better stats drafted higher than players with less stats???

Why are contracts designed to pay bonuses and extensions based on certain numbers/stats reached??? Why do players with better stats get higher signing bonuses??? You ever heard of a third string or other backups get max contracts???

Most of all, why are stats used to INDUCT players, coaches, etc into the Pro Football Hall of Fame??

Please tell me which one of these examples aren't true.....

either way it makes no sense i was sayig he got hurt in preseason, if he didn't play that game,
Dak may never have got on the field that year.,.,BTW IMHO you also misread who you were responding too, he meant it was an eventuality Romo would get hurt for large part of the season had it NOT been for the injury in PS..so Daks time while a tad early was going to happen sooner or later and the fact we finished 13-3 dak got ROPOTY and his pay in the playoffs game and zekes as well wasn't why we lost it was defense, so its moot point..romos time was up. At this point, Mahomes, Rodgers, Wilson, Allen, it will be Burrows and Herbert soon also. Dak good but not close to elite and Jerry was a fool to pay him as such. At the end of the season please don’t give excuses for Daks failure in games that count he gets paid to deliver not talk about delivering.

results are A TEAM concept, stats are an individual concept, so you are failing in your debate., case in point, no matter how great an individual say like Parson's had last year we still were one and done. Only takes an individual like the OL and Dl penalties to destroy the team concept over an individual's failures but Dak not been one of those in these games..like Crayton's, Bailys TW missed, and Murrays fumbled moments, inconsistent defense blamed on ROMO.

You’ll never be able to please everyone. Hell, even Brady and Rodgers have their detractors. Bottom line is Dak can shut up a lot of critics and fans by getting this team to a Super Bowl. It wasn't just "people on tv" it was former and CURRENT players, coaches, GMs, and scouts who said these things about Dak.

So you're saying that people who have played and is currently playing in the NFL, coached and is currently coaching in the NFL, studied and game planned against players for years in the NFL have zero expertise of what NFL talent is all about???

Getting paid tens of millions of dollars at the highest levels of NFL football don't give all of the people I've just mentioned credibility???

You're absolutely correct!!! The math shows that 31 other quarterbacks loss too, only one quarterback at a time can win the Superbowl. The other 31 lose.
