I don't get why so many people wanted him gone (not saying you personally did) but then don't want to face him. I personally couldn't care less if he went to a team in our division. *shrug*

He's not a good fit for the 4-3. He would've gotten injured again.

Good for DWare - If we don't win the Superbowl, would love to see him get a ring I still think we should have kept him as-is for one more year to see if he could return to week 1-4 form (I believe he will).

Such a bummer - credit to Jerry for drafting him, credit to Jerry and Co for not making the most out of his time.

Um, with a little thing called the draft. Sign a player or two in free agency and draft a player or two and you have a brand new, young dline.

Yes and we have been outstanding in the past with drafting!!!!! Some people just don't get it.

I don't even know what you point is in this post.

If you have a savings account of some sort, you don't make decisions just to maximize the account for the current year. You would make decisions that result in maximizing the account for the long term.

It's similar for NFL teams. The manage the cap as a multiple year entity. They don't just manage it a year at a time.

If your employer offered you a 10k bonus if you take it now or they would make it 40k if you wait a year to take it. which would you choose?

You've convinced yourself the salary cap is a savings account? What a losing strategy. Then again: perfect for this franchise. Let' lose today AND assure we lose tomorrow. That's a plan!

Once the Cowboys are eliminated from playoff contention, I'm hoping Denver wins it all.

He'll get his Lombardi while Jones, his son, and his illegitimate son watch it on the tube.
You got that right.Jerry and his son has been watching Super Bowl for almost 2 decades now(1 playoff win in 17 years)and they will be watching again while Ware has a chance to win a Super Bowl.

It'll be interesting to see what Ware eventually settles for. I seriously doubt it'll be for 10 mil. If so, some team will be gambling a fortune on someone who hasn't even been able to practice, much less play effectively. I think DeMarcus is kidding himself.

Wrong, again Bucko! He got $20 mill guaranteed and $30 mill total.

Well, it certainly looks like Ware knew what he was doing when he declined to take the pay cut. Good luck to D-Ware and I'd love to see him get a ring unless somehow we're in the Super Bowl too (we won't be).

Nice numbers....knew he'd get numbers around what I posted previously. I wanted Dallas to offer 3yrs 24mil with 16 guaranteed. Guess I low balled him a bit. Happy for him and great job by Pat Dye and Bill Johnson.

That means absolutely nothing. My point is that because he's too small, he risks more injuries thus becoming ineffective. The facts bear that out.

He started the season with a elbow that needed surgery and a fresh operation on his shoulder. He was gonna be less effective in whatever defense they played. You can't expect the Cowboys to run the same defense till he put's on weight or retires. They made him very rich and moved him all over the field to give him a better chance to succeed for 8 years. Nothing they did hurt his career.

There was no mention of his elbow having issues at the beginning of the season. Cowboys made him rich for sure, but Jerry hurt his career by moving to the 4-3

Thought he would go to a 3-4 team honestly but we will see what happens.

But 1 Corner and a pass rusher ... does that put Denver in the ball park with Seattle and San Fran?
