Somedays, my boys would agree with you.
other days, not so much..... LOL

That was a great day though. Both of my boys had mud in their teeth, ear holes, etc.
all the kids on both teams had a blast. Played in the driving rain. Covered head to toe in mud.
wow, that sounds awesome. I remember growing up playing in the rain and mud. Great memories. Great job brother.

I think my original comment was about Warner's breakdown and why he has so many videos of Dak playing badly and none of him playing good. That's why I called him a hater and mentioned Rodgers. It turned into an Aaron Rodgers argument after you or Swagger (Can't remember and I'm not going to waste my time in looking) came to the defense of THE Great Aaron "Generational QB" Rodgers.

I'll call it a simple deflection. Lol :D

Do you want to go back and argue the point I was trying to make about why do so-called Cowboys fans here make excuses for QB's like Carson Wentz, Matthew Stafford, Josh Allen, and ready for it?.. THE Great Aaron "Generational QB" Rodgers, but never make excuses for our own QB? I've ask this simple question to all you Cowboys haters but yet to get an honest answer. I know why I just want y'all to admit it. :)

I myself and from what I have seen of others do not make excuses for other QB's but rather simply point out the consistent deficiencies of Dak given we are Dallas fans. The times other QB's get brought up is usually by those trying to defend Dak by bringing up other QB's and most find it laughable when names like Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Rodgers, Brady, etc. are used to somehow elevate Dak based on previous QB's play.
The fact is Dak in his 7th season still has issues reading defenses and while nobody expects him to be perfect he has yet to elevate his game and hence the team deep into the playoffs and until such time he will receive criticism.

Dak can read defenses it's his processing skills on what to do with them that are slow.

I agree 1000%!! No confidence and no time to read progressions. What was different on the last drive on the OLine? A potential HOF'er, 38 years of age protecting him. I would have more confidence wouldn't you?
Yeah I’d feel a lot more confident too with Peters than Ball. He probably got flashbacks of Chaz Green out there.

then since you answered that way, instead of answering the actual questions posed which were:

When you watch the games are you seeing Dak under duress before having a chance to throw?

Did Kurt blame pressure in his breakdown? (I didn't watch it but I gather he didn't)

then what are we to make of your answer. If you're not seeing Dak under duress a majority of the time and Warner didn't blame pressure, then Dak needs to man up and trust his line and do his job. If he's getting happy feet while not under pressure, that's a QB problem. Not a line problem.
Not sure of your response. I agree it’s his problem. And yes he is under duress. He literally fumbled and threw an interception under duress I don’t need Kurt Warner to tell me that it was clear as day. Who the hell would have confidence with Josh Ball protecting them?

Ok, but why?

I can understand getting skittish during periods where the line has struggled, like last year. But it's December of 2022. He's had all camp and all season to see that this group doesn't generally give up immediate pressure.

He does have happy feet. Unfortunately, I think it's because he is uncomfortable due to not being the best processor of information and knowing he has throwing limitations. I don't say that to trigger you or anyone else. I say it because I think he knows his issues and he can't overcome it even though he tries.

Like a free throw shooter that every now and again has a good stretch at the line but can't sustain it.
I disagree. Dak has never lacked confidence in himself and his game. He’s never had issues processing information. So not buying that.

we have one of the bottom 5 Pass win rate and pressure OL, you see that? daks being hit, under pressure, moves of fhis spot, KM has issues either with design or how the Wrs are running routes IE one of the worst septation groups in the nfl, and some how we ignore that..LOL

so there issues with the pass game that being ignored and dumped on Dak as usual.. also being hes 6-1 in his return and would be 7-0 had the defense not blown that GB lead and Hes impacted the total offense from bottom 5 to top 5.

NEXT ignorant narrative to bust??

so there issues with the pass game that being ignored and dumped on Dak as usual.. also being hes 6-1 in his return and would be 7-0 had the defense not blown that GB lead and Hes impacted the total offense from bottom 5 to top 5 in many categories.

NEXT ignorant narrative to bust??

So taking all of that on board ......why do we even bother moving off the run on 1st or 2nd down. Stick to what we're good at. Limit penalties, run and option a short field pass.

The added advantage is that we wont be giving short field from the pick-offs. Use the run and Defense.

While I agree with you somewhat, in my opinion, the throws were all there to be made. Regardless of the route concepts info, it almost sounds as if Kurt is trying to be nice to Dak by mentioning the pattern as if to excuse him for not having made the throw sooner on each play. He coulda just stopped and said plant your foot and fire with accuracy here. Which he kinda did at times did but then softened his stance by pointing out route concepts.

My whole point is there IS plenty evidence of wide receiver separation for accurate throws to be made in just the first 15 minutes alone of all these PA plays, ALL of those throws that could have been made, should have been made imo.

They weren't.

Opinions vary I guess.

And I'm sure the resident Dak defense attorney teams here and self proclaimed QB analysts will point how wrong Kurt is.

But that's life in the Zone for ya, lol.

I don't see how you can say that when he is pretty clearly showing how the leverage of the safeties and the direction of the route worked in the defense's favor on at least 4 of the plays he went over. That is why he kept recommending route adjustments that ran away from the leverage. He may have seemed to about to say what you were thinking but he didn't.

The other plays he showed were how the plays in question worked against man looks. He clearly tells us that it is for comparison purposes.

He makes good points. My concern with his proposal is asking these young players to start running option routes ie different stems based on coverage. I am not certain they are ready for that level of complexity.

Either way, they weren't running option routes and when the db has leverage to make a break on the ball, Dak should not throw the ball. Unquestionably, his decision making against zone coverage needs to improve.

Doesn't matter who the protection is. If you're already rattled before pressure actually occurs because you "think it might occur" then you're not fit for the lead dog role

I think it starts with no confidence in protection or the play calls. For some reason this year more than others it seems like he has no faith in the offensive line(rightfully so) and he's keying in on guys. But that's why its odd how he ended the Texans game. All of a sudden he went through reads and trusted his line.

There's too many variables and its resulting in inconsistent play.
Daks internal clock has never been that good and when there is more pressure he can't seem to speed things up. He looks so rushed and panicky

Interesting breakdown by Kurt Warner of Dak's play vs Houston.

that first play he dissected showed that Dak was trying to be aggressive, trying to find CD, but he waited too long to go to his second option and by then the LB dropped and made it a dangerous throw (ball being tipped trying to othrow over the LB)...so he went the safe route to RB and made positive play. could we have gotten more? yes. if he would have made the throw half second sooner. but he played it safe. He did also mention the play design left some to be desired and didn't press the defense...which is what a lot of us here have been saying about Moore's ability to design and scheme plays

on the second play, he got aggressive, perhaps as Warner said, it was predetermined to go there if opportunity was there, if not go to the second option. it seemed the opportunity was there. Gallup was open, Dak left it short. that's on Dak. on the other hand, he was being pressured so he didn't get his whole body into it, so perhaps why it was left short.

on the third play, Dak should have gone to lamb. I don't think the 2nd option was really there, because the cut wasn't made, and by the time the WR became open (before he turned), there was pressure in his face, so he went to the third option and that's a tough throw. trying to throw across your body while moving the opposite direction....perhaps he was thinking too aggressively.
