That’s fine, Dak fan.Ok then. Jethro supporter. Lol

Nope, never said that. I was using it as a frame of reference. So now you say Dak is a future HOF QB. Wow professional help is needed here.
I’m a fan of all Cowboy players. Would I like a greater QB, of course . Same as with Romo era .That’s fine, Dak fan.
Jerry is the best owner in the history of professional sports. He’s an awful GM, I’d argue one of the worst ever, but he also hasn’t been the GM in practice for a decade.Jerry is a better owner/GM than Dak is a QB.
He's won, multiple times, at his job.
If you refuse to stand down and hire more capable GM’s then you’re not being a great owner.Jerry is the best owner in the history of professional sports. He’s an awful GM, I’d argue one of the worst ever, but he also hasn’t been the GM in practice for a decade.
So he’s certainly a better owner than Dak is QB, but to say his time as the true personnel decision maker was better than Dak’s tenure as QB is just not a rational position.
With players like Parsons and Lamb and picks 12 and 44 they can turn it around. They just need to use their cap space. All it took was new ownership, new leadership in FO, coaching and of course insert of talent and top drafted QB.
Lions turned it around as well but it took a couple more years.
Washington’s turn around in one season is the new standard but exemplifies it can be done . But major changes are needed from the top down.
I really don't want to look at these up, because just looking at your 1st point about passer rating is laughable.Dak is 8th all time in passer rating, 10th all time in QBR, 11th all time in adjusted passing efficiency, 5th all time in 4th quarter QBR, has the 5th best record against teams that finished .500 or better in the last 25 years, etc. The number of data points that show Dak is, at a minimum, a quality NFL starting QB are numerous.
With respect to his playoff record, it’s an issue. An issue lots of good to great QBs have had in history. But an important caveat is that Dak has the third worst average defensive performance of any QB in history with at least 4 playoff starts. He has 7 playoff starts and his defense has been nothing short of abysmal in 4 of them, and he played well in 2 of those games. He won 2 of the other 3 games. The only games that you can reasonably argue even COULD have been different had Dak played better are the two SF losses. Additionally, fans seem to not recognize that all QBs ever see a dramatic drop in their QBR in the postseason and Dak still has a WELL above average postseason QBR. For reference, if he retired today, Dak has a better QBR in the playoffs than half the current QBs in the HOF or pending HOF locks from the SB era.
You were happy as a lark the day Dak signed.I’m a fan of all Cowboy players. Would I like a greater QB, of course . Same as with Romo era .
But not recognizing our core issue is in the sky box who makes these decisions on personnel is a grave oversight.
Dak is here cause our owner thinks he’s Elite. Which most of us know he isn’t. That should make Jethro the biggest problem even in your book .
We’ll see. With players like Parsons and Lamb and picks 12 and 44 they can turn it around. They just need to use their cap space.
I was happy cause I was right in my argument for months that we would resign him. Something you totally were wrong about. You were happy as a lark the day Dak signed.
We remember.
You cared more about being right than the Cowboys doing what is best for the the team.I was happy cause I was right in my argument for months that we would resign him. Something you totally were wrong about.
I’m more about having greater instincts and insight into what our horrific owner will do .You cared more about being right than the Cowboys doing what is best for the the team.
Congrats, bro!
We remember how happy you were when Dak signed, bro.I’m more about having greater instincts and insight into what our horrific owner will do .
And I was spot on throughout how it would play out.
And if Snyder was still the owner they would be just as good BECAUSE of Daniels. It took Washington more than two decades to turn it around and it’s because it appears they landed a generational QB. If it wasn’t for Daniels, they would’ve been sitting home for the playoffs once again. Daniells may end up being better than Mahomes. He may already be better. It’s ridiculous how good he is.
No doubt their QB was a huge reason for turn around. But we have to give credit for the changes made in ownership, FO and coaching to make those personnel decisions. It took Washington more than two decades to turn it around and it’s because it appears they landed a generational QB. If it wasn’t for Daniels, they would’ve been sitting home for the playoffs once again. Daniells may end up being better than Mahomes. He may already be better. It’s ridiculous how good he is.
And I was right. You were wrong. We remember how happy you were when Dak signed, bro.
You made a whole thread about it.
Congrats, bro!
It hard to argue facts on a message board:Dak is 8th all time in passer rating, 10th all time in QBR, 11th all time in adjusted passing efficiency, 5th all time in 4th quarter QBR, has the 5th best record against teams that finished .500 or better in the last 25 years, etc. The number of data points that show Dak is, at a minimum, a quality NFL starting QB are numerous.

Daniels has clearly been the difference. Snyder was a terrible owner, but he never had a QB. When it appeared he finally found one in RG3 his team went 10-6 and made the playoffs. RG3’s injury derailed them in postseason and it was downhill from there. When RG3 declined so did the team. Washington has never had a QB in their entire history as good as Daniels. He’s amazing! And if Snyder was still the owner they would be just as good BECAUSE of Daniels.
Jerry can do it too if he'd take the QB position seriously.
I’m impressed you managed to make a post that was both relatively cordial (by your standards) and longer than two sentences.I really don't want to look at these up, because just looking at your 1st point about passer rating is laughable.
Dak is behind Deshaun Watson and basically tied with Tua and Jimmy G for passer rating all time. That means you must think they are all time greats also?
I guarantee every one of the stats you posted has Dak behind or tied with bums like that.
