Washington is great example how quickly Cowboys could turn it around

Whenever there’s a QB worth taking over an offensive lineman but no point taking a QB high the next couple of years with Dak on a new contract. We can’t afford having a high draft pick carrying a clipboard. You may not realize it because of your Dak obsession, but the Cowboys have bigger needs than at QB.
You're scared just like Jerry.

We should always be looking to draft a QB. And it will be a need assuming Rush and Lance are gone . And it doesn’t have to be in 1st round .

They’re not benching a $60 million per season QB anytime soon but you don’t seem to get that. Our top draft picks need to be playing. Try using some logic once in a while.

Stay losing, like Jerry.

It all starts with the owner and the front office's willingness to sell the team and obtain the necessary talent, along with a highly competent QB.

As far as the Dallas Cowboys' current ownership and front office are concerned, they are unwilling to meet the necessary requirements. It's also a matter of discerning whether or not Dak Prescott is a "top QB" or not. That's a lot of change to ask of the Dallas Cowboys' current setup.

Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones comprise a situation whereby the Jones family would be obliged to sell their organization to an ownership that is willing to meet the criteria of the needed standards to "turn it around." Good luck with any attempts to make such things materialize. They have displayed no inclination whatsoever to meet the required changes. Instead, Jerry Jones seems steadfastly determined to remain stagnant.

It only took them 33 years.
Which points to how difficult it is landing a great QB. Missing on first round QBs sets a team back, which is why Washington has had a lot of struggles over the years. Anytime you miss on a QB in the first round you pass on real good players at other positions.

All it took was new ownership, new leadership in FO, coaching and of course insert of talent and top drafted QB.

Lions turned it around as well but it took a couple more years.

Washington’s turn around in one season is the new standard but exemplifies it can be done . But major changes are needed from the top down.
I was thinking about this earlier today. The turnaround at Washington, Detroit and Houston is nothing short of miraculous and all are chacterized by three things: sound coaching, good QB play and a good front office. There are other similarities, of course, but these stand out to me.

Can Dallas do something similar? The next few months will be quite telling. If you're setting odds for Vegas, the answer is "no" based on past performance.

Washington is a perfect example are proving Dan Cambell is an idiot.

Why would I want a crippled Dak when you could get a young healthy Daniels? You need to get some professional help. Your obsession is unhealthy.
That isn't a direct comparison of potentials. You want success and that can occur in multiple ways.

No, accountability starts at the top. Function in the team starts with the controlling of team on the carpet.

We need changes at the top
First and foremost.

We should be drafting a QB every year until we hit .

But Jethro won’t. He doesn’t want a QB controversy.
That's not the cause, a team's starters is the true value. Two large expenses only robs all other positional strengths. All Pro's are not needed at backup QB.

All we need is a fundamental change in philosophy from an egotistical GM hell-bent on proving his way can be successful. It could happen, anything is possible, but would I bet on it? Heck no, that's a losing bet.
