I'd really rather they were stuck with Campbell rather than getting Cutler. But maybe that's just me.

And not even show up for the draft?stasheroo;2713536 said:I could see them giving them all to Denver to get Cutler - including any pick they might get for Jason Campbell.

Don't forget that while he did put up great numbers in Denver, Mike Shannahan is an offensive genius. He even managed to get Jake Plumber and Brian Griese to put up good numbers in his offense.

SMCowboy;2713654 said:I wouldn't put Cutler on par with Romo. Yeah, Cutler put up big stats, but he threw the ball the second most times in the league. And his 86 QB rating when his schedule is stuffed with defensive powers like Kansas City, Oakland, and San Diego is far from inspiring. Don't overlook the fact that Romo puts up his numbers which are slightly better (though close) having to face the Giants, Eagles, and Commanders twice a year.
I am not saying that if Washington gets Cutler that you can expect him to post 2800 yard, 18 TD, 20 INT seasons. But you can rest assured that he will not post near the numbers that he did in Denver having to face D's like the Giants, Eagles and Cowboys twice a year, instead of KC, Oakland, and San Diego.....

Example: In 2003 we had the #1 ranked defense... but New England allowed less points per game that year.
Skinsmaniac;2713301 said:Who else is there? uh, the very same players that led us to a 4 or 6 ranked defense last year. If you don't know the names of those players, that says more about you than them. Also, Fletcher is a small linebacker - I don't know where you're getting your info.
We lost Springs, Washington and Jason Taylor, none of whom contributed to our defense in a meaningful or lasting way.
All that being said, I really, really hope we don't acquire Cutler. I just don't think I could bear another of Snyder's moves.

Broncos gave up 28 points per game LOL...Commanders 18.5.
I think its a lot easier to win games win you dont have to score 4 TDs and then some more a game. I could be wrong though.
Perhaps. I think that Greg Blache is a very good coach. He made some noise about retiring a year ago, so I hope we don't lose him soon.JerryAdvocate;2713788 said:it says more about the system than them

He didn't blitz nearly as much. And Gregg Williams didn't look so good with the Jaguars last year. Our players are pretty good.JerryAdvocate;2713794 said:I think he just continued the Greg William's scheme and tweaked it a little
